If they revamped them... then I vote yes.

Maybe a neat idea would be to hide a couple friendships, babalities, brutalities, animalities within a few characters. So every character would have 2 well done fatalities, and one extra type of finisher left for fans to try and figure out.

I agree with MyQueenSindel and Shibata. If the brutalities are more unique for every character this time around, then i'm all in for it. But no more Trilogy style explosions. Screw that.

I imagine characters like Baraka and Mileena would use their personal weapons like blades and sais, while others like Scorpion/Sub-Zero could use more special based attacks (spear/fire-ice/combos).

With this game having better graphics and more violence, I'd love to see an opponent completely drenched in blood and beaten the fuck out of. Since each characters would be different, they would end their brutality differently. One opponent could lose his head, the other cut in half, burnt, lost limbs, etc.

No.

Although I wouldn't mind seeing a few characters beat the shit out of someone as a fatality.

If they were revamped and unique without explosions then I'd be all for them. However, I'd prefer to see multiple Fatalities - around 3-4 per character.

only if every character explodes into a thousand ribs. No skulls, just ribs everywhere. Rib Rain!

No to Brutalities. After seeing Li Mei's "Brutality" in MKD, I don't want to see another one.

Why is that? That fatality was one of the best in the game.

Li Mei's finisher wasn't a Brutality, it was a take on the "Five Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique". Instant kill pressure point attacks are a classic kung fu movie trope.

It looked exactly like a Brutality, except even worse. The person got punched x amount of times, pressure points or otherwise, and then they shake and explode. While it isn't a Brutality true to form, it's a different take on it.

Well the difference is a Brutality is a silly looking generic combo that bludgeons you to death and you explode for no reason.

When Li Mei does it, it actually looks like a famous martial arts technique from movies and stuff.

As cook as hey were back then, they are just glorified chain combos. So, I vote 'no' to brutalities.
