This raises the question of what they photoshopped out of the picture: Her vag or her panties? With shadows like that there's no doubt that some heavy photoshopping went into her crotch/thighs, hehehe....

Anyway, I think that the costumes were done pretty well. I do like the skarlet girl more though. The Jade seems slender, which by no means is a bad thing, but it looks a bit off from Jade.

But the boobs are only quite big!

And rage about Jades not being dark enough commencing in 1...2...3....

I think it's the fabric. Their outfits just look cheap and tacky :/

I always imagined Skarlet's outfit being like PVC or Leatherette, she has a glossy, almost meaty texture on her fabric. The model above's just looks like hers is made from spandex or polyester, it's shiny but too matted for Skarlet's actual fabric.

As for Jade's? It just doesn't look anything like her.

I do agree with you on the fabric. They are not exactly the best choice. I wonder how much time they spent on the costumes. Although I do like the look on scarlet.

I have seen black men cosplay as Kitana. They are cosplayers, it's not their fault they aren't the same skin colour, or gender, as their favourite characters. No need to rage about something like that.

The models seem quite awkward looking too. There's no sass or intrigue to Jade, she just looks...awkward. Body language says a lot in these pictures.

Is the model who's being Skarlet wearing a wig? The hair is way too bright for her. And her eyes are the same in both photos, she doesn't capture how sinister and dark Skarlet is. That and they both look way too bright for their supposed environment, although obviously that's just so you can see them.

The Mileena and Kitana models were way better, IMO. A pity considering I love Skarlet and Jade :(

Yeah, when I first looked at these models, they didn't really scream out "pizazz" for me. Granted that it's overseas and such, still... If you're gonna cosplay Mortal Kombat characters, either look sassy or look deadly.

Not, "Ugh, just take the damn picture, I'm getting paid a ton of money right now for doing something I could care less for," kind of emotion.

Really shows it in these pictures that they're not really trying.

Irina Pantaeva did an awesome job (compared to the rest of the actors) as Jade and she was beautiful, sexy and had some nice moves. She was one of the positive lights in that movie. ^^

I liked the movie version of Jade. Sure knowing the fans, if the actress *was* dark skinned, there'd be complaints if she was too dark skinned or too light skinned. It seems Jade's ethnicity and skin colour is something they'll never settle on lol
