Of course he should be in MK9, he's probably the most used/popular MK3 characters along with Sindel and Cyrax. He's like Zsa Zsa Gabor appearing in the Beverly Hillbillies movie. He was just too famous in that time period to not be included or at least make a great cameo appearance.

1000 TIMES YES!!!!! I love Kabal. I definitely want him in here not as a cameo, but as a playable character. It'll be interesting to see if he's a beast like in umk3 lol. I hope they balance him really well this time though.

So long as he is not over powered. yes.

Don't we already have a character speculation thread going? ....do we need another?

What moves and/or fatality ideas do you have for kabal

Yes, no doubt

No.
I hate him. And probably, in this game, I will hate him more than ever, instead of starting to like.

Well, the purple energy ball and the spin are obviously a must-have. I would definitely like to have the laser able to be done mid-air again ala MK3. that was always handy. The saw blade move form MK3 was useless, that can go but if they leave it in, whatever. The "Nomad's Touch" from MKD was... interesting and I doubt many people liked/used it but I used it so that when I fell, i could use a wake-up attack right after. (Kinda catch them off guard.) Once again, i could take or leave that move. What moves and/or fatality ideas do you have for kabal
For fatalities I really liked the one from MKD where he would spin them and put his hooksword in there and then the body parts started flying. They could work off of that one. Or he could stick the hook parts in the opponents shoulders upside-down (kinda like butcher's hooks) and then spin around holding onto the swords until the body came free, possibly leaving the arms behind on the hookswords.

It's been far too long since we've seen the ground buzzsaw, I'd like a fatality where he summons one up, and kicks the enemy down on it face-first, or maybe summons up four of them to rend them into chunks on the floor.

What? LOL
who says that? sorry but I really did laugh out loud on that one. But again, this thread is pretty much pointless.
I think he has one of the more appealling designs. I like his ....er....road warrior style.
I'd put Sheeva in over him, but only becuase she's my fav character of this franchise, but Kabal would be on my top best choices list, for diversity in look and moveset.
