Seen it already, but still, that is just nasty.

Sub-Zero has been my favorite character since MK 1. Whether Bi Han or Kuai Liang. When I first heared the news of Kuai being turned, I felt a little kick to my stomach because of the possiblity he will never be the same again.

But I wasn't so detrimentally affected like some Sub-Zero fans whining and complaining like it was their brother or something.

That being said, Cyber Sub-Zero has grown on me and whether they choose to keep him or turn him back into a human somehow, I'm ok with his story at this point.

And not only the brain, the entire body is there, as you can see on x-rays. Saying that is the same that say that Jax can't return to his body because of him having a hole on his neck, Jade for having less organs than normal, Smoke and Kung Lao for having his neck broken , etc...

I think that they will return to completely restored bodies, so it doesn't really matter.

To be honest i was never a sub-zero fan until now, i really like the look of the cyborg compared to his human form. I also really like the mystery behind the cyborg, it makes you wonder what he looks like under the mask now (I always enjoyed the mystery of some of the masked ninjas because you don't know what they look like). I'm wondering if they just skinned him alive and then shoved him in the robot suit or if they just transferred his brain into a machine. Also if they do make him human again hes gonna need a life support suit kind of like kabal, sub-zero is never going to be the same. (I think thats a great thing though)

Sub-zero still has his organs and skeletal structure like all the other cyborgs. Hejust has a different "blood system" than everyone else. They all still have a muscular system as well just with the oil running through there veins and not blood hence the different color of the muscles. I tested smokes fatatlity on then so see. So technically they are still human ans just missing parts certain parts. Sub zero was probably automated different to preserve his ice powers since he can still form ice with his hands and he can manipulate it to a greater degree even. They probably learned there lesson from cyrax.

Yep, Lin Kuei cyber ninjas are skinless body, but with tissue , organs and bones, however, their blood are replaced with some special fluid (black oil for Cyrax and Sektor, and maybe, liquid nitrogen for CSZ, since his blood is like cyan blue color ?) and his body is covered with cybernetic armour , that works as their new skin , but much more durable and resistance to damage, fire, etc ..... they have no eyes too, but, cybernetic implants linked to their brains, and in a central cpu ..... a lot of sensors are linked from their bodies to the armour, more or less like their new "center nervous system" .....

Cyrax is built differently as you can see in most of his alt costumes he still retains a human face.

its interesting because sub-zero looks like he has been skinned alive, maybe that was the price he paid for messing with the lin kuei

I think it's more of a matter of inconsistencies in designs

Cyrax and Sektor along with Subs in this continuity no longer retain their faces underneath the plating. Cyrax's damage model clearlz shows that he has a huge objective lens for an eye once he gets punched in the face enough times.
