In MKA they killed the krypt, the whole point of the krypt was to spend ur hard work money on a a cool character or or cool things. I love not knowing wat i am going to buy because it gives u more of a trill. But in MKA it gave u all of the krypt, so now your stuck with all of you money with nothing to do to spend it on. I hope the new game has a cool new krypt that doesnt kill the game like MKA did.
So write back how u feel and how u think the krypt can become better.wow

I feel that MKD pretty much hit it right on the button.

The number one concern I have, is whether or not It can be doen without taking attention away from the detail of the game itself in terms of the fighting engine and depth. I want an absolutely deep and beautiful fighter, and all the time taking to do a krypt may be too much.

If they include one which is beyond my control, I would want it to be like MKD. But with no Konquest mode, we need a new way to impliment the Key system.

Lets Make story mode fun. Have certain levels have a Key emblem on the lower corner with a small challange like "Finish the enemy with a special move". upon completing this, we get a Key. Take to the krypt for a secret.

This would also Require a Chapter Select feature to be implimented which I would prefer anyways. Great replay value and sense of depth. Again, I ONLY want this if they have done everyhting they canw ith the fighting engine and perfected it to satisfaction.

I would like to see it return if it fits in properly with the game. I loved the one in MKD.

That would be great to see the Krypt again, because thats what I loved about MK was saving up and spending my coins on unlockables that really were important like characters and arenas, but then MKA took it away from me and the fun went with it. furious

Very rarely do I say "I don't want a feature", but if the Krypt never comes back, it'll be too soon.

I really enjoyed the krypt. I'd be happy to see it back, but if not, it's not the end of the world.

Great idea, in my opinion.

Btw, I thought that in one interview it was mentioned that the Krypt would be back (or something like it).

Still, I'd rather they focus on the fighting part of the game and don't include too much miscellaneous stuff.

That was the TMK interview I believe, and it wasn't a "yes, it was more of a "maybe/We havent decided yet"

It can be better by never coming back. It was fun for one game, but I 'd prefer that secret characters and rewards in MK be earned by more involved means, rather than just shelling out pile after pile of koins and wading through 300-something staff photos.
yeah.. I liked when MK games had a shitload of things to do on the side, like minigames and things. MKDCU felt VERY unfinished and ridiculously underwhelming. There was seriously hardly anything to that game. Sure they made some improvemets to the fighting system.. but honestly it wasn't that much better.. and aside from that.. that's ALL you get. And a kombo challenge thing that was impossible.

there needs to be more kontent. MKD's minigames were a bit dumb but they were fun.. and honestly there were a few times I started up the game JUST to play puzzle kombat. And MKA kept me occupied for a long ass time.. just because of all the things in it. MKDCU had a good engine, but I honestly played it twice. That's it.

Since it's about MK-MK3, maybe it'll be call Shao Kahn's Treasure Chest instead of The Krypt, but maybe have the same features where one use coins earned to unlocked the hidden treasures. I didn't like how it was originally, where you have to type in some combination of logos during the quick loading screen to unlock something.

I enjoyed the Krypt. But I think they should mix it up. Have all the concept photos ect. ect. in a Krypt like MK:D, but then also have another room within the Krpyt that you unlock special rewards for specific things done in the game. They also combine this with some of the old school feel, and have other secrets hidden in the game that are not accessible via the Krypt what so ever. This would add diversity, content and some mysticism, all rolled into one.

I like that idea, remember back in MKDA that the onyx and platinum koins were hard to earn. Maybe they should have universal koins to open the normal koffins but rare koins that unlock characters and krypt keys (earned through kombat) to open up really special rewards...UGH! I remember how there were some koffins that were empty and the annoying laugh the announcer would make!

I also think that, even with running with the idea already posted, that if there were a large number of koffins like the original Krypt, there should be ones that are only unlocked by keys that are obtained by certain accomplishments, like going through arcade in 15 minutes, or without a loss, or have keys hidden in regular koin koffins.
