Thank heavens MvsC3 is hitting shelves in February. If I didn't have something else to tie me down till April, I'd go insane.

If SSF4's AE patch comes out before April as well, then I'll be breathing a lot easier overall. I doubt I'll be so lucky, though.

I'm saving my money on when Mortal Kombat comes out. So no MvsC3 or SSF4AE for me...

It's good to know that we're inside of 100 days. I wouldn't exactly say that we're nearing the "home stretch" by any means, but at least we're in 2011 now, so that kinda feels like another hurdle we've jumped over in this seemingly endless wait.

I look forward to seeing more info in the days, weeks and months leading up to release!

Luckily MvC3 and MK9 come out far enough apart where I can actually afford to get both.

99 days sounds like a lot, but it'll go by faster than you would expect. 4 months will pass by in no time, especially with a lot more info coming the closer to release. They've said there's a ton of stuff left to reveal and showcase...so it won't be as hard as the 1st 4 months.

Great thread, but the problem is that we haven't had an official date yet! I would wait for a confirmation.


So far:

Gamestop has the release date for April 1st (on a Friday), which I believe is a temporary date, and I don't think I've ever heard of games releasing on a Friday before. Also, inb4aprilfools.

Best Buy has the release date of what we believe is true, April 19th (which falls on a Tuesday) seems more like a valid day to release games.

Amazon.com has the release date of April 26th, which is the following Tuesday from April 19th.

I have tweeted numerous times to MK_MortalKombat and Rigo Cortez about an official confirmation for the release date, but have yet to get a response.

The official date is the one published by WB themselves, which is the 19th of April. I don't see why we should worry about GameStop or Amazon or whatever. The company itself says April 19th.

Thats completely irrelevant. All companies do that. its their projected release date. Nothing is final until the game goes gold

Ehh stores such as Gamestop have their projected release date set according to that of WB since they are the ones developing the game. I am saying that the release date provided by WB is more accurate than Gamestop, Amazon, Best Buy or whatever.
