I imagine this will not be included in the game, but I think this would be a really cool concept.

For example, if you are in story mode, and youneed to go fight scorpion in the living forest, visiting it in the day time might reveal some kind of secret, or give a different view.

I still want the team to focus on core aspects of the game that have taken the sidelines in the past few games, but I feel this would be an added bonus.

Day/night effects during actual fights would be cool, though. Although they may not opt for this considering the "dark" feel of MK.

Some of the stages damned well better have skies that change. The rooftop is not meant to be a daytime place, dammit.

It'd be cool if they did what Tekken 6 did in some levels, where it changes from day to night during a fight.

I for one wish they'd do this - having arenas with different time / day. In a way, it adds variety to the arenas.

The only arena ever in MK to have this effect was the Portal arena from the Sega Megadrive MK2, where the match with Jade was with a blue (night) backdrop compared to the original version which had a reddish (daytime) backdrop.
