So the past 3 real MK games (not DCU) have had subtitles, Deadly Alliance, deception, and armageddon. Do you think this game will have a subtitle or just be MK9. Also what would you want that title to be? The only thing i can think of right now is "rebirth" Damn video is stuck in my head ( not that I don't enjoy it)

The Title has been confirmed to be just "Mortal Kombat:." in an interview with Ed Boon. You can find it Here

thanks. not to get off topic. But MINION made it for me completely out of the kindness of his heart. What a great guy.
I also am very excited that this game is just called "Mortal Kombat". What I love even more is that they made it into a reboot without actually rebooting it. its still technecally a sequel.
Theres a heavy oomph on WB wanting to revamp this series. what better way then to put every game since MK3 to shame? Im extremely jacked for this game.

I like it the way it is, back to the good stuff.

While I don't miss the subtitles (I only like 'em if they're corny), I do miss the prestige that comes with having an increasingly large number after 'Mortal Kombat'. To me, that's the difference between a product and a brand.
