I was watchin my friends fight 1vs 1 on the demo and sure enuff we got a “TOASTY!“....but this one was special! One person got a "TOASTY BOOST" and it filled up his whole X-RAY meter. Everyone in the room actually saw it happen! It said "TOASTY BOOST" right above the X-RAY meter for a second! Has this happened to ne1 else?wowfuriousgrin

This guy is trollin.. There is a toasty bonus in the full game that gives extra coins tho. (I think)

Well, since this demo is an older build, it was probably a command to instantly fill the X-Ray meter... The NRS team used this to show off their X-Ray moves during interviews and previews of the game... but I don't recall "TOASTY BOOST"...

TS wasn't trollin. i did get a "TOASTY" but it wasn't a "TOASTY BOOST" like DarthShagus claimed. my brother and i were fighting each other. we both selected Scorpion. i did an uppercut on him and fair enough, "TOASTY" guy appeared at the bottom right-hand of the screen ala MK3 & MKT. it took my brother and i by surprise for a few seconds. he only appeared once though. i'm kinda surprised that the rest of you have not gotten a TOASTY. i'm sure some of you guys, if not all, managed to get a TOASTY at least once.

I see "TOASTY" all the time and I've hit down + start several times and nothing's happened...EVER. I'm not saying you're lying or trolling, I just don't know what would've given you a "toasty boost"

ive played the demo for hours upon hours since it came out on p.s.plus.....ive seen toasty guy at least 15 more times since the "TOASTY BOOST" and still haven't seen it happen again

Egh... I hope "Toasty" isn't random then, something about my opponent randomly getting a bonus doesn't sit well with me. Now if you get the bonus from say pushing block when Forden pops up and both players can get it, it wouldn't be as bad, but ehh....

I know Forden appears to yell Toasty. I was the first person to post a YouTube video proving that he exists in the new game. What I don't buy is that it boosts your meter. Show me a pic of that, then I'll buy it.

I've only gotten a Toasty once. I was Mileena and we were in the Pit II stage (contrary to what some people are saying about it only happening in the Living Forest stage). But there was no boost. I haven't seen any boosts on youtube either and I've watched a lot of videos.
