Round 1 concludes with a match made in Hell! The Oni Destroyer Moloch was once responsible for hurling Scorpion to a grim fate, but the ninja spectre always finds his way back to seek vengeance against his enemies. In this demonic do-over, will it be the destruction of one of MK's biggest icons, or the beginning of his ascension?

I'm actively against Scorpion since MK:A. I liked him very briefly in MK:DA and MK:D but now I can't stand him.

Definitely Scorpion.

Scorpion is the face of MK whether people like it or not. I don't want to see Scorpion make it to the finals but he easily surpasses Moloch.

Moloch was easily my least favorite Sub-boss of all MK games. He had an interesting story but I have too much of a disdain for Moloch.

Okay, someone will have to explain this to me then. Why is Scorpion monotonous? Is it because he's always one of the featured characters of the series? So what? If that's the case, then why have MK1-3 characters basically swept through the first round? They're all old and iconic (to varying degrees) just like Scorpion. I don't see the difference.

Is it because he's Ed Boon's favorite or some dumb crap like that? Yes, let's hate him because the creator of the series that we love likes him. That's totally logical.

Or is it because everyone online picks him? If that's the case, then I'm sorry, I didn't realize that the MK community was full of punk fans and hipsters that only like things until they become cool and then they hate them.

Really, clue me in here, I thought that he was really fun to use in MK2011. He had a lot of signature attacks and his combos seemed to smack opponents all over the screen this way and that. He has the signature taunt of the entire series and while his story has been mostly stagnant, they've found ways to keep his look and moves fresh from game to game.

I'm not saying that he should win it all, but people want him to lose to that glowy eyed, tubby smurf, Moloch? Are you kidding me?

Because there is too much Scorpion. And I very liked Moloch as subboss in MKDA. Of course there is zero chances that Moloch will eliminate Scorpion from the poll, but I would consider this as a rehearsal.

To vote Scorpion down JUST for the sake of principle is stupid. Yes, he's one of the most popular characters, and it's almost expected that he'd win this whole thing, or at least come very close. But hey, people like Scorpion, so that would be an honest outcome. Who cares if it's predictable?
