Wow, if they got Nathan's V.A. to voice Johnny, that would be awesome. I love Nate! But I'm sure the dude is too busy to do one MK character.

I loved Sonya's voice actress in MKDC, and she's already been confirmed as Sonya's actress in the new game, so I'm happy. It was perfect for Sonya. I knew it when I heard:

Green Lantern: "What did you do to Captain?"
Sonya: "The same thing I'm doing to do to YOU!"

The way she growled it was bad-ass. I can't wait to hear her again in the new storyline.

Definitely, Boon should continue to reprise Scorpion's iconic demands lol. It would just feel too weird to have Scorp sound any different. And holy crap, I'm still taken aback by how Boon can make that fiery voice given his calm, soothing speaking voice.

On another note, though we haven't heard much from my girl Mil, it looks like her voice actress is promising. The sexual moaning sounds she makes before she rips off your head was incredibly and ironically excellent! I'm soo excited to hear more from her.

Johnny Cage is the one guy they don't need to recast, they nailed it in Shaolin Monks. And it's been said repeatedly in different topics, but Steve Ritchie needs to play the role of Shao Kahn/the announcer like for life.

I liked most of the voice actors in MK vs DCU too. (Though I'm still annoyed the games have never taken Raiden's personality the sarcastic route. Jeff Meek can't be any more expensive than Richard Epcar...) More actual industry pros like Epcar or a Nolan North would be great, of course. I could easily see Fred Tatascoire as one of the big monsters like Goro. That's one of the major problems with the MK games up till now. When all your voices are done by the developers while every other big name video game is hiring ACTUAL voice actors, your product looks cheap and unprofessional. Plus all the acting sounds cheesy as hell. They've got WB's money now, let's make an actual production of it.

That said, I kinda hope they never hire Steve Blum or Johnny Yong Bosch. Nothing against those guys, I've absolutely loved some of their past roles...but they don't have much range, you can always tell it's them. Kinda takes you out of the moment if every time a character talks, all you can think is "Hey, it's Spike from Cowboy Bebop"...
Hmm...could always get Clancy Brown and Ron Perlman back, have a mini Defenders of the Realm reunion, lol.

Agreed, Sonya's voice actor in MKVSDC was good & Mileena's for the new game is sounding very good... sounds like she's turned on by violence!! & i dont think Nolan North would be to busy to voice Cage, he does a lot of minor roles in massive games (not saying Cage is a minor role). I would love to see Boon record Scorpion's lines for the new game, its crazy that voice comes from him!

Steve Ritchie as Kahn/Announcer again... Yes!! & Fred Tatasciore as Goro would be amazing!! GORO SMASH!!!!

all in all i think this new MK would benefit a lot from talented/well known voice actors!!

Well not so much a VOICE over but more so, Voice effects. Stryker in UMK3 when he would Run made that ooouuuugha sound. I hope if they give Stryker some actual Dialogue he has that Fierce pissed off cop sound in his voice.

Ron Pearlman would be excellent, as would Nolan North (he IS Nathan Drake after all...). For some reason, Lance Henrickson (sp?) and Keith David come up but, despite being awesome, I would always hear Bishop or The Arbiter (sometimes Goliath).

I liked his MKA voice a lot.

Nothin' against Fred, as I really enjoy his work, but I'd like Kevin Michael Richardson to return as Goro.

The voice acting during Konquest in MKD and MKA was absolutely ATROCIOUS so I hope they change this for this game
