Out of the many nominations we had, 11 (plus the one disqualified) stood out as the most popular contestants getting the most votes from the fans.

We have now narrowed it down to two! In a surprising win, Motaro, the underrated star, leads victorious with the most votes (and had multiple nomination ideas). He's proven to be quite the popular kid of the block.

He will face off against the iconic MK Dragon, who follows him closely in this contest of popularity.

So, we have now reached the finale. A new and last thread will be up shortly. MKO members will determinate the absolute Winner of MKO's Exclusive Contest idea. In it, we will all hopefully reach a consensus on how we want this particular statue to look like. The final design and concept idea is up to you!

I'll be posting the final news very soon. Keep an eye out for the next and final update! YOU will decide the winner and how Motaro or that MK Dragon will look like (pose, special moves, etc).

I really feel like these won't get 100 pre-orders. Some people are going to be like "If what I voted for doesn't win I am not buying it." which will decrease the pre-order number greatly.

That would've been the issue with literally anything that was decided on though. If we use the simple act of voting as an indicator, the response alone is enough to make me worry that we wont get 100 pre-orders. Even with the modest price points and the option to vote on the design. Hopefully people will like what ends up being decided on enough to want to support the MKO community.

@Queve: For some clarification, what's the difference visually between the MK Dragon and an Elder God Dragon entry?

When do we get to see the Jade and Kitana statues? I cant wait.

Lame. I'm not buying either of those. Same old MK crap we always get. I wanted something different this time.

A gorgeous Sonya statue in her alternate costume is on the way.

Also, as much as I too wanted to see something more varied and unique like a Motaro VS Johnny Diorama or a Kano VS Sonya Diorama, you can't say that a Motaro or MK Dragon statue is something that "we always get".

We've actually never had anything featuring those 2 ideas.

This could be a first for Motaro, and, who knows, he might just blow you away.

Same thing with the epic MK Dragon. Just image owning an awesome MK dragon statue in its complete shape and form. This is not just a MK logo we are talking about here, its supposed to be the actual dragon and all. None of this is "the same" stuff we've seen, not at all.



We need Syco to gives us the green light in order to update our news story with the new pics and all. Hopefully soon! I need to talk to Tyrant about this.



I'm not sure as we still have to decide/vote on how the Dragon statue will look like.

In the original submissions thread the most voted/selected was the idea of the "Liu's Fatality Dragon", and his Dragon, in a way, is essentially the same as the "elder god's dragon" form (which you suggested in another thread, but you were more specific about your idea and even the color gold, so, it qualified as a different submission), so, this is still up and open for debate. It can essentially be the same thing

What will the dragon be doing and how he will pose is yet to be determined.

Motaro and the MK Dragon (single character statues) were the top 2 most voted statues.

Both will face off in a final thread that will determinate the true winner.

Both were also popular choices in the diorama category.

Except I don't like Motaro. And I don't want a sculpture of the dragon. Both are incredibly boring, IMO.

Motaro is ugly and unoriginal, and the dragon logo is total lameballs compared to an actual character.

Good luck getting enough people to pre-order for these things.
