I was just checking the E3 site, and I came across the listings.

Warner Bros. Interactive appears among the list of existing exhibitors. Since Netherrealm Studios is a developer under the company, this could possibly be the announcement of MK10.

In addition, I also came across NAMCO-BANDAI within the list. Hopefully this leads to an announcement for Tekken 7, which I feel is long overdue.


Anyhoo, what do you guys think? Is it a go for Mortal Kombat (2015), or is it just pulling our chains?

To me there's almost a guarantee that NRS is going to announce the next MK game at E3 HOWEVER, what it's going to look like is still up in the air. Regardless, E3 can't get here fast enough.

Oh there will be an MK announcement for sure. The question is: What will it be? Fighting game or Action Adventure?

I doubt we'll see an action adventure anytime soon.

I'd rather see MK10 anyway. I'm ready for Shinnok.

For the sake of speculation, I'd say it'll be an MK fighting game. NRS announcing something MK related, that looks to be for sure at this point.

MKX is going to be revealed at E3. It's not even a question. Ed Boon has never NOT revealed a fighting game a year after the last one.

The bigger question is whether the projected release date is April 2015. I could see that being different given the scale of the new MK.

MK10 I hope, also I'm wondering if Keifer will voice the male vampire fighter that was left out of the series or not, in a way I doubt it but just knowing that he is well known for his badass vampire role in the film 'lost boys' just keeps me wondering, I also hope they bring back Friendships and/or the Animality finishing moves as they've been absent for far too long and I just found them highly entertaining lol but also gory-bloody fatalities of course :)

Slightly off topic but...

If Bandai Namco shows anything it'll be Tekken X Street Fighter. It's been 4 years since it was announced and we've seen nothing. So I'm positive we'll finally see a true to form reveal for the game.
