To be honest I don't think scorpion really has a face. He took on the form he had when he died, a human face with a mask, but he is really just a demon from hell which is represented whenever he reveals his skull type face.

His face is ugly, is what it is. Oh, and this:

That said, no, I don't hate Scorpion. I just find him a really bad character. I also found this thread's title too hard to resist making a joke about Scorpion's face, because it was just too obvious. If you have a problem with me, PM me.



Now that you mention it, that is actually rather odd. I can understand him wearing his human skin as a mask of sorts, but that thing with the eyes doesn't make any sense. There are many unexplainable things in Mortal Kombat and some of the things are just things we should just go with. I think this with Scorpion's eyes is one of those things. Just go with it.

I am genuinely confused about Scorpions anatomy.

he has flesh and he bleeds, but he has no flesh on his face.

So he is human in appearance from the neck down, with a sometimes flaming skull underneath and a mask that has a face living face on it :|

I always just sort of assumed it was just "magic". When he takes the hood off, the illusion of him having skin goes away. It's a bit of Looney Toons logic, but I think that's fine for something that's not exactly plot essential.

It's a fictional character, he won't be hurt by it.



Like I said, just go with it. It's magic. The same reason why the women of MK can fight in high heels without any consequences. That's just the way it is.

Even Ghost Rider has some sort of eyes, unless the red "eyes" are just the holes of the eye sockets that lead to the burning inside of the skull. Scorpion's white eyes, that couldn't work by Earthrealm logic, are supposed to be of a demon yet they disappear as if they were part of a human disguise. I think they just want Scorpion to look *cool*, that's all.

"Face" I guess because he changes his mask every other day.

Has any body looked at when he is damaged in nekropolis, it kinda makes it seem like the skin is part of his mask, as it is torn and reveals the skull beneath.

I think his hood is more like a mask to hide his flame covered skull and make him look human when he is really a hellspawn.

in MKvsDC when Scorp gets damaged the mask comes off to reveal skull beneath skin for the jaw and one of his hands loses all flesh to reveal a skeletal hand.

Maybe his skin just falls off easier as a spectre than when he was alive.
