That's what I love about her.

She's got a real "sweet" kind of voice. Hearing her scream really is sad and painful.

It's too...real. I don't know how to explain it. Like, extremely human and believable, imo (yeah, I know all the voices are human, but, some of them stand out the most for feeling more "real").

I feel a bit guilty...because I love hearing/seeing her scream despite feeling sad for her.

Got to give it to Mileena for this one. Girl's got a great set of pipes for screaming!

I can't believe you people even pay attention to the screams.

Supposedly Skalet has the most annoying screams during battle and I still haven't noticed them.

That's like saying you can't believe people pay attention to the music. Sound design is pretty important.

I wouldn't go that far. I pay a lot of attention to the music since it plays a large part in creating atmosphere and in some cases, re-creating the nostalgia. I wouldn't put the screams up on the same level as it.

But to each his own.

Since Deception Mileena has had the more unique voice actor. Mileena definitely has the better scream in the series overall, but MK3's Sheeva death scream sounded like someone was REALLY getting their limbs torn off.

Indeed, I adored Mileena's voice actress in Deception. The new one is very similar, though I don't think they are the same person. Mileena is definitely one of the best performances in this game, whether being torn to pieces or just giggling maniacally.

I think you are underrating the value of the screams/sound effects. They are, after all, a big part of the overall feeling the game.

Also as many people said, Jade's slow-motion screaming when she rips off her foe's head during her staff impale fatality is amazing!

And finally, Sheeva in MK3! It was scary and inhuman, I loved it!

When I punched Skarlet down the pit I thought her scream was quite cool.

i've always found kratos's closed mouthed screams of pain to be the most amusing.

Without a doubt, Mileena. I can hear it ringing in my head just thinking of it.

I always wondered what it would be like if her screams were as loud in-game as they are supposed to be in the MK Universe.. God almighty.
