I know MKDA was supposed to show both the fully dressed and semi-nude version of Shang Tsung, and while Shang Tsung was equally fine in his golden armored red attire and the alternate outfit with cap and braids, I kind of never liked the idea of Quan Chi fighting semi-nude, at least they didn't put much effort to make him look so. In MKDA, Quan Chi resembles a classical war-hero from an '80s action movie, like Rambo or shit. I personally think the MK4 spike-collared outfit is the only one suitable.
