Even though these x-ray moves we have seen, are done during the match, I feel they should have limited some attacks to less vital areas of the skeleton and tissue (like the fingers).

So when it came time to finish off your foe, you could save the spine breaking for that. As well as internal organs getting chopped up, punctured, and whatever gross things the developers can come up with. Thus, having x-ray based fatalities.

So for Reptile, I could see him emitting acid into his enemies mouth, but you would be able to see the esophagus begin to dissolve from the inside along with other organs. They can of course set up the camera to zoom back out to the bodies' exterior to see the damage that has been done.

So even if we only get to see the x-ray view during a match in the final build, it might be nice to see a few fatals from this perspective as well.

I know I've been knocking down a lot of ideas lately, but I have to again so no to this possibility because it doesn't seem neessary. X-Ray moves aren't to be taken that literally. If they were, the character would obviously be dead before the end of the match. It's safe to assume that even if Subzero shatters you're liver, it's not like the liver wont' be there when the time comes for a fatality.

I guess I could be wrong about that, but it seems strange otherwise.

X-Ray moves are Mortal Kombat's take on the ultra combos. They're cool, but they're also exaggerated, and that's fine. Again, I don't think they're meant to be taken literally. I'd imagine they're suppose to communicate, "Wow! You hit that guy so hard, it's as if his skull shattered!" It's not a medical lecture of what goes on during an MK fight.

Though there's other reasons I wouldn't support this. Overall, I wouldn't want to see x-ray fatalities since

A) rendering them would be a pain. We're not talking about shattered bones anymore; this is really hard stuff from a developers standpoint.

B) I have no interest in seeing violence on that level. I kill people with acid (in video games) because it's cool. I can say, "Ha! I just killed you with acid." I don't need to or want to see the internal organs dissolving.
yeah. It'd be cool for anyone that saves up their XRAY meter, and then at the end of the match would be rewarded by simply doing an XRAY combo move which would trigger the fatality. I can just imagine jax doing his head clap in slow motion and seeing the skull break into pieces as the brain is smashed and the skin of the head is turned to meat. Or scorpion doing his toasty and being able to see the skin/muscle/internal organs burn until only the skelliton is left. It would give someone a reason to try to save the XRAY move (which would be an accomplishment all on its own because they are so powerful, and breakers and special specials are cool too. And if someone managed to survive with a full bar they could just do the fatality with ease. ALSO it would just be a nice touch, you know? And that would be the third fatality.

I bet there will be some kind of unlockable xray mode for the fights.

I can see this being done but only on 1 or 2 fatalities. Like if a organ is being ripped out I can see it going to the xray vision and showing said organ being torn out. But I honestly don't wanna see every fatality done in this manner
