ya know, after Armageddon came out i swore to myself that i would never again frequent this site and post gaming ideas like some uber-pathetic fanboy whose just naive enough to believe that Ed Boon is out there somewhere reading his posts.

i guess some things never change. grin my patience level = 8.

Probably a 4/10. Any character I'm interested in seeing probably won't be revealed until Fall at the earliest. When Deception was on the horizon, we didn't see Smoke until about six and half months after the initial teaser.

I remember that screenshot that revealed Smoke. Good times.

My patience level... I'd say around 4.5/10. I'm VERY excited for new reveals, but I know I don't have to check the site every 5 minutes. New news is not going to go away when it's posted, so I check the site at least twice a day.
Im pretty patient. Knowing the game isnt coming out till March helps honestly. Now when December, Jan rolls around, the wait is going to be excruciating

I would say about an 8, the wait really doesnt kill me but I enjoy looking for information everywhere and putting it all together.

crazy enough, for what looks like to be the best MK since UMK3, which is the game that made me a gamer, my patience level is off the scale on the patient side. im so busy and i got so much i have to get done before the game comes out if i want to be able to enjoy it i havent even thought release, i do get excited about new info though. especially about characters.

I guess a 1 is in order. This game is worth a look at, but nothing more.

Well, I'll start by saying once I saw the E3 footage, I hadn't been so excited since the days of MK1 through UMK3. Easily a 10. But, with no new news lately, it's dropped a bit... but only to an 8. I'm still VERY much so looking forward to this! But thankfully I've had a lot of distractions lately which have gotten my mind partly off the next MK tongue

However, I know once we start getting a lot more info regularly, most likely around fall, it'll creep back up to a 9 and 10.

Before the official trailer was released, it'd been years since I came to this site. I swore off newer MK games and moved on. I was sick of the disappointment.

Then that cool movie pitch comes out and the new game trailer a couple days later showing it's back to 2D and I went in full fanboy mode again. Can't wait! Probably an 8. I'll be at a 10 a month from release.

Same here, I didn't come here for Armageddon and came back before MK vs DC was announced and when I hear in the morning it was DC I left this site, only to come back to see the updated MK characters but overall was pissed with this entire series. But it was just a lame ass business deal that Warner Bros had when they bought MK. I forgive and can forget that shit, and now MK is back stronger than ever because of it.

Ever since Armageddon, I practically cut my gaming intake by about 3/4's. I only play like once a week, usually Call of duty.

Ever since I saw the first trailer to MK9, I flew off the handle. I texted everybody in my phones contacts list and told them that MK was back.

Some people texted back, "wtf you talking about?"

lol, i texted my ex-girlfriend who i hadn't talked to for a whole year and told her that MK was back.

she said "fuck you" on the first text, i guess as a defense mechanism, and then "what the hell are you talking about?" on the second one, when she finally read my texticular message

yeaaaaah....i'm about a 9.5

Real smooth.

No disrespect, but I am absolutely curious why would you text your ex with this?

I'd go with an 8.5 like someothers. I feel like I am extremely excited, but I have been down this road before, and as you grow older and gain more responsibilities or interests etc. you find time going by much faster etc. Currently my main goal is to save money to move out, which is going great, and other things such as work and spending time with family, friends, and girlfriend. Also the added addition of other games that are still fun, and the anticipation for some games that come out sooner than MK, such as ones later this fall, keep me busy as well. The busier you are, the easier the excitement is to manage.

When it comes to new info, as much as I'd love to know a lot more etc., the more they spread things out, the better imo. It'll keep us interested and talking, because nothings worse than when you know EVERYTHING about the game months before it comes out. Everything just seems old by the time you actually play the game, because everything will have been analyzed and talked to death etc. on here. So I can wait for each spurt of info even though sometimes it can be tough, but it's for the better in the end. Though, I do think there should be some sort of released schedule of when they will make releases, whether it be weekly or monthly, but that's just me. It's nicer knowing when you'll get something new, and it's like seeing the finish line in a race, it gives you that extra motivation and calms your mind.

Like a weekly render reveal would be neat. I always thought they should release a blackened out render on friday, where the person is compltely blacked out so it's just their outline. Letting us all speculate for a week, and then the following Friday they could reveal the actual photo. This could easily take up plenty of time and lead us up to the game in a nice fashion. They'd still have plenty to reveal beyond just the renders, but these would make the week by week waits go by easier for most.
