honestly...i'd rather have this next then MK8. it would give the team more time to work on the future fighting game.(which after MK vs. DC, i feel they need) and I absolutly loved the first shoalin monks. sure the story was....interesting to say the least, but the gameplay was solid, and the nostalgia was immense.

MKSM is a great game and a class for itself. I think they should not make a second part of this game. MKSM1 based on MK2 and they must look for another part which they handle with MKSM2. I think this will be not so good but the idea to bring out a new game in the MKSM style is good. A totally new MK game with a big quest game and many secrets, more moves and fatalities, more weapons like MKA conquest just better and a versus mode where you can play online too and select all characters you meet in the quest. This quest mode you should play online in co-op with many other players around the world and maybe they should put in a level-up mode where you can bring up your current character by increasing experience. This will be a great game!

i think they could easily adapt MK3 into a MKSM type game......now how good that would turn out is questionable. i prefer MK2 storyline and style over MK3.

MK3 is to simple. What i mean is they should bring on a complete new and own story for a game maybe Mortal Kombat: Revenge of the Black Dragon or Mortal Kombat Conquest: Saving Edenia. A new title, a new game, a new story.
