Can anyone confirm if Goro's in this, like the original article stated, or if they were just... y'know... wrong.

This remake reminds me a lot like Mortal Kombat 4. Still getting it though.

I think it is kinda kool some one remade UMK3 into 3D, though it doesn't look superb, it don't look like total crap either.... I find it weird though it is some other company doing this....

Anyways I really just wanted to rant a lil about the roster. It looks like shit. I take it still two unknown, but they got Sheeva in there of all people..... Then as far as I know there is no Kung Lao or Kabal or Kano or Reptile or any of the cyborgs. Now I'mma take a guess that at least one of the cyborgs will be there, but who? no clue..... Any way you look at this though with the roster they are gonna be leaving out at least three if not more of the actual best characters gameplay wise from UMK3.

So bottom line, I'll be sticking with my SNES version of UMK3 on my Droid even though it can be a pain some times.... Still better than that.

I don't know what the specs are for the iPhone, but I would imagine they aren't that impressive. So the low poly count 3D models makes sense. Remember you are probably watching this on a 20+inch LCD so you can pick all the flaws, not a 4inch phone display.

I don't agree with that. As I stated in a previous post, I don't see why a 3D remake (still with 2D gameplay) wouldn't look better than any updated 2D version they could do.

People seem to forget that to make it the same as the original, the actors need to do all the moves EXACTLY the same as they were back in '95, otherwise the gameplay can change drastically. It's alot easier to make a 3D model to do the same motions and hitbox.

The likeness' are quite OK given the low-res models. Add the 3D graphics of 2011 and utilise the power of X360/PS3 and I think they'd be onto a winner.
