Imo, Animailities were one of the dumbest ideas in the MK series. Having every character morph into a crappy looking dayglo animal really sucked. I have nothing against a FEW characters turning into animals for Fatalities.

For example, Liu's classic dragon, or having Reptile turn into, let's say a giant snake. Where it fits the character, it can make a good Fatality. But there should not be seperate Animalities ever again, that leads to rubbish like Strykers t rex, Johnny Cages kangaroo and Scorpion as a little penguin. What the hell were Midway smoking when they came up with that?

While we're on the subject of 'Alities, let's also keep Babalities and Brutalities in the past with Animalities.

Reptile- komodo dragon
Mokap- penguin
Kenshi- bat
Baraka- that fish with all the teeth and a light bulb on its head
Jade- Cheeta
Stryker- T-rex
Scorpion- scorpion
Sub-Zero- polar bear
JC- dog
Jarek- kangaroo
Goro- kitten (Hib to be exact. lol)

NightWolf should turn into..... well.....a Wolf.
Liu Kang should turn into a Dragon
Shao Kahn should turn into that thing he was in MKA
Shang Tsung should turn into a Snake

4 animalities are good enough for me. They all are possible in the MK world and make a lot of sense.

P.S.- Scorpion shouldn't change into a scorpion just because his name is Scorpion. Its just a name and it has nothing to do with the insect.

Anamalities were a horrible idea and should never return. They didn't make any sense and the animals were matched to the wrong people. Scorpion should have been a scorpion, but no, he was a penguin.

his fighting style and moves resembled a scorpion. he fought with his left arm poised over his head, ready to strike and his famous harpoon was supposed to represent his tail lashing out and bringing the prey in for the kill. to egyptions, scorpions had something to do with the under-world (I forget exactly what) and Scorp is a servant of... you guessed it; HELL.
