What i heard of this new character is awesome!
His origin is from living forest.
He actually is a tree of the living forest who is "liberated" by unknown sorcerer (4 now) , but i think this is Quan , Shang or even Shinnok ..
His name for now is Dendroid ,but i guess that is beta..(actually i like it)
Nothing more is revealed for this TREE-BEAST but he'll be big and most likely a Sub-Boss for mk 7.


My source is a guy who i know very well from the net.He has done lots of favours for me,and we can trust him atleast 50%.

If i hear something new i'll post it here.

Hope u like this news even if its a rumor.

Not enough for me to deem trustworthy... A whole lot of rumors were "confirmed" for MK6 by "reliable" sources and never happened (return of Sektor, a new Shokan, etc.).

Anyways, a lot of rumors get spread whenever a new game is announced...most of the rumors aren't true though.furious
If this one is somehow, I guess it would be neat fighting some kind of tree monster, even though I'm getting tired of the big cliche monster bosses like Goro, Moloch, the Dragon King, and so-forth.

Rumors are so fun aren't they?

So the sub-boss would be a tree from the Living Forest? I'd prefer fighting a super charged version of Dark Raiden but this sounds..umm...cool.

Weither the rumor may be true or not is one thing. I'm still very happy we have rumors floating around. It's something to ponder over until MK7 and yeah. I like the rumors....but of course I'd rather have true ones then false ones though. grin

The tree on the right? There are screenshots of it impaling Kung Lao elsewhere on the Internet, though it seems to be another version of the standard trees, possibly found deeper in the Living Forest. Could this be the monster you were referring to? I can't see the possibility of a famous sorcerer inhabiting it, though a massive tree boss would be a great feature of Shaolin Monks. If a boss is assigned to each area, a demonic tree would be more than suitable for the Living Forest. I think it sounds great. wink

The Dendroid can walk and its smaller than the normal trees in the living forest.Man i can't imagine that they'll make him BIGGER than DK or maybe a little bigger but not true size compare to the other trees.
Im sure he is very slow but must be very powerful...

It would help if you explained your original post better, Asesino... A mobile tree was not what I pictured from your description, since trees are commonly attached to earth. I don't think Shang_heihachi deserved that outburst, either. He has provided more for this community than you or I together, and should be shown a little respect. Give to receive, buddy... 'Nuff said. wink
