I think they could, actually. They seem to have a lot more room to create skins. I think I've seen some people put the moveset of a character on another character entirely.

I assume they could put Rain's stuff over a character(like they did in the past) but load a klassic skin turned purple instead.

It would probably be a lot of work though and I doubt it would work in story mode.

No because Rain ins't playable yet and Boon hasn't hinted at Noob or Smoke for the Story Pack.

All of you: cross your fingers for Klassic Tremor and Klassic Tanya costumes. They're not actually klassic but Boon teased the idea for Tremor so it's a possibility...

Well Klassic Tanya could work with a reskined MK2 Kitana and Mileena. The only thing would be the upper shirt reaching the neck but they could just leave it there just like they left the black undershirt on MK3 Sub-Zero in MK9.

Tremor was a brown UMK3 so it could definitely happen.

NR has separate models for the bodies and costumes. It would need tweaking of course but it would be pretty easy. The biggest thing would be giving her a mask.

She doesn't need the mask. Kitana and Mileena both have variations without the mask. She can keep her current variations visual aids without needing a mask.

What she would actually need is a new haircut.
