I truly forgot the whole "MK1 character" thing. Knowing that all MK1 characters will most-likely make the cut, I guess Goro will be fair play. Would be good for Torr as he is a big brute.


*We are just awaiting Johnny's reveal as he is confirmed. Still need confirmations for Sonya and Liu Kang.

As long as we're talking about characters that got shit on in mk9...Shang Tsung and Goro should be around the top of the list.

Eh, tough call. Its not like we got a definitive lifeless corpse like we did with Liu Kang. I feel like if it were just his power that were taken away, he'd have been reduced to an old man or lifeless husk.

Throw on to that a decent enough independent story and he has the potential to finally be something more than an overplayed sub-boss.

Looks like everyone else from MK1 will be included, so why not? But the fighting style HAS to be better than MK9, he was very limited.

I will be annoyed however if Goro is revealed and he's an unplayable sub-boss. That would be a waste of a reveal.

He better be a normal playable character with three different variations.

Sheeva was in the game. She had her own fighting style. What else do you want from the secondary character?

She was never memorable or likeable enough and I wouldn't say the fact thet they decided to not make secondary character like her important is "shat all over". Gross overreaction.

Agreed. Goro as the sub-boss yet again would be...well, *Zzzzz...*

But Goro as a monstrous, playable fighter has potential...as long as he's more stately this time around (he is a prince afterall, like you mentioned) and less...well, less like his MK9 incarnation.

That last tweet strongly hints at Goro being in MKX and possibly the next reveal. Makes sense since he (not his dignity) survived MK9 and he is one of the MK1 characters. Here's to hoping he's playable and well balanced. Oh, and not some sort of (sub) boss

I'd bet my money on a Goro child/sibling/relative over Goro himself. Goro will probably only appear in story-mode.
