I posted this a LONG time ago, before Deception was even revealed.

If MK7 were to have the 3-Stance style gameplay again (I hope not, but it'll be fine), this finishing idea would be good.

Each stance has a different fatality. Instead of remembering 2 different combinations, the character could just have 1. For example, I'm Scorpion. The combination is Up, Up, Up, 2. If I was in Hapkido stance while I did the combination, he would do the Spear Slice. If I was in Moifah, he would do the Toasty. In weapon stance, he would do a Weapon Fatality of some sort.
Also, it would be cool to have a "gimmick" combination. Hapkido would be Friendship, Moifah would be Brutality, and weapon stance would be... ugh, Babality I guess.

I don't know if it would work well, but it would be an easier way to do finishing moves, without having to memorize too many combinations.

I think that's a great idea. I think it can help a lot on having to memorize so many fatalities. I think that could help a lot, because for example sometimes when you do a fatality and you have a weapon. The weapon just dissappears. Which I think if you have your weapon and try to do a fatality it would look better if the character just uses his weapon right there to do the fatality.
I think this idea could work very well with different character. With Jade, since she uses her weapon. When you want to do a fatality you can just switch to her weapon stance and just perform the fatality right there. Because sometimes some characters just have the weapon appear out of no where, which it doesn't look good.
Anyway, I think your idea could work in a good way.

i like yur idea...... havent you guys ever thought that maybe there shud be way more fatalities then fust 2 i mean in MKDA i was so upset wen there was on 1 fatality....in deception it was better but like you have 3 tances and at the end you can choose fatality...maybe you shud be able to choose like friendship catagory,animality,babality,brutality...and wat s really humiliating is if yu were able to mimic yur opponents finisher!!
