Fujin- His chapter would show what happened to him and Jax after Jaxes chapter.

Li Mei- Her chapter would be her defending her village when Mileena attacked with the amulet.

Rain- Him and Tanya breaking Mileena out of jail.

You miss the point entirely - he's a severely underused character with tremendous potential. His absence from the story for several games has been inexplicable. This was the perfect game for him to return, since he was present during the original timeline when Shinnok invaded. He's a "lesser god" meaning he has a physical presence in Earthrealm, unlike the Elder Gods which exist in the Pantheon. So, there's basically no reason for him to NOT be here. Yet they pad the roster with half the characters that died in MK9, some of which don't even have any bearing on any of the chapters.

Fujin will probably be announced at EVO in July. Martian Manhunter was hands down THE most requested character for Injustice and he was revealed at EVO in 2013. It makes sense.

Don't get me wrong I'm glad that both Shinnok & Tanya made it, but that doesn't change the fact that he was more requested.

Tanya was pretty heavily requested, but she's also only competing against the other women, since they seem to always do one woman per season pass. Of the female characters she was definitely the most wanted.

I'd be surprised if Fujin wasn't an EVO announcement. At this point, though, who knows! Ed works in mysterious ways. If he doesn't make MKX I imagine he'll have a role to play in MKXI.

Tanya was even in the background in the Coliseum map...though Kira was too. But still, from the very beginning I'd be surprised if she wasn't in MKX at all. The timeline fits.

Fujin will get his time in the spotlight, you just have to wait patiently while others get theirs. Right now it's simply Shinnok and Tanya's turn.
