Same here, I've had this issue since launch. A bunch of others have this issue as well, and has still not been resolved in any patch.

You have this issue if you're on Xbox One, and have your console set to turn off when powering down. (not in the mode where it's sleeping).

-You power on your console, and start the game

-MKX will automatically start downloading every single piece of DLC 1 by 1

-Almost 99% of the time, 1 of them will be corrupted, forcing you to redownload or uninstall / reinstall the DLC

-The issue causes screen freezing and pausing because it's downloading DLC in the background.



There is one fix that someone from the WB forums suggested to me that I use every time, and it works all the time.

1) start your console up
2) after the welcome screen, immediately start MKX. (you have about a 10 second window to do it)


What this does is, it tricks the Xbox to bypass that step where it causes the redownloading of all the DLC's.

They'll never fix this issue unfortunately.

It's unfortunate. They really need to do something about this. Even though I'm on PS4, this still isn't right.

The issue I've had multiple times is my win/loss ratio being reset as well as my KOTH respect points. Don't really care about the latter, or either for that matter, I just want my Kombat Kard unlocks and every time I get close to 500 wins, it resets.

I want my Noob background damn it.

I haven't noticed any of these issues
