The MK storyline can still be revived. If you don't think the story still had potential read some of the original fan fictions here. There are some real well thought out, interesting, and original storylines, particularly MK Rebirth and the sequel by Xihaoudun84 among others. I have some confidence that Vogel has the ability to create a new direction for the series without rehashing the same old bs.

Yeah, basically it's the only series keeping Midway alive.

Unreal is helping Midway out as well. And it seems that Midway is producing better quality games these days. I hear the new Lord of the RIngs game they made is really good. Stranglehold looks like a blast as well.

Yeah, it is. By and large though MK is Midway's cash cow.

I think they can make another MK and yeah MK is the big money maker for midway

If they want to save the MK franchise which at this point in time looks pretty unlikely that it will happen they have to improve on many things the plot being one of them.

How CANT THEY? theirs stills lots of good and original character idea they could use, only if they could come up with it .
