You're talking about her Assassin variation, my favorite variation for her. Yeah that kinda bothers me too. I'm guessing it's for stealth purposes maybe? Makes her look a little more on the evil side but I'll get over it.

Just the lack of any 3d era characters I guess. Quan Chi doesn't count, he retconned his way into the original trilogy.

This. I hope they confirm Fujin as playable and/or Shinnok as a sub-boss soon.
My unpopular thoughts:
I'm not excited for Reptile in this game at all.
Raiden's default hat looks awkward.
