I don't know... It is a weird matter, I would prefer Johnny Cage to keep the Nunchaku style rather than letting Liu Kang have it. Due to story issues and all, Liu Kang could have a wide variety of weapons to use. Liu Kang has a great experience of training with the Shaolin and also the White Lotus so Liu Kang would have the skill to wield many different types of weapons I assume.

With extensive research on Shaolin martial arts styles you could easily replace Liu Kang's Nunchaku style with another. And I believe Liu Kang would fit the character of wielding such type of weapon.

Johnny Cage is a martial artist who traveled the world so he may have plenty of tricks up his sleeves. But really, after seeing Johnny Cage with a pair of Nunchucks I can't really see him settle for anything else, unless any of you guys could think of something more suitable for him.

Liu Kang should use mankiri chains-hose would suit him the best, or if not, I think about the shaolin spade, the pudao, or even the three sectioned staff.

maybe in MK7, characters can share styles and weapons, but one will use it different. ie; if both JC and Lui have Kung Fu, Lui will be faster with it. while being able to dodge and attack faster, he sacrifices damage. while Johnny is balanced, not being as fast, but doing more damage and taking less damage when he blocks a hit.

Johnny cage would choose a well known weapon that looks good, even though nunchucks have been proven to be inferior to most martial art weapons. So I'd say keep the chucks for cage and give Liu Kang is MK4 chinese curvy sword thingy ma jiggy bob....hi

A longsword wouldn't suit a shaolin monk. Hmm, have him get the mankiri chains instead, those would suit him almost too well, and Cage should use the nunchaku.

Mankiri chains are hard to define. Well, since I am not that good in eng-lish,-or not trying hard enough- I will say only thast it differs from the metal sectioned combat chains of the gong-fu. Instead of smal tubes used in the chin whips, it consists of real chain particles if I'm right. Can't seem to remember that, I only know that it differs from standard chain weapons.

hey use it on both hands-i think they are almost the same as Zombie Lius holding chains, only made for war.

Its basically a chain with solid pieces of metal at either end to weigh it down. Its weilded with two hands, and is primarily used for fighting but can be used for other uses.

Me neither, i dont really see any weapon fitting Liu Kang. Maybe they could just give him 3 hand to hand styles. I dont really like that idea, but i dont see Kang weilding a weapon of sum sort.

The mankiri chain can be used as attached to gauntlets. I saw a shaolin demonstration on TV and I think since Zombie kang has chains, it would go with him becouse great agility is requred for their use.

I think Johnny Cage should stick with the nunchaku ( I hope both of these characters are playable as they are both strong and have fun styles IMO) I think this because he is fluent in martial arts and for some reason those weapons just fit him.

I think that Liu should use a new weapon that has to do with those chains on his hands in MKD. I think he should have chains with blades attatched at the end a la God of War. I think that this could be one of the coolest weapons in the game if Midway actually reads this bored and it could be used like a nunchaku only with a longer attack range and slightly more damage.

(also could have some "killer" fatalities" (pun intended)

Well, Give Johnny the Nunchuku and let Kang have something else. Also notice that the Jeet Kun Do and the Jun Fan stances are the same. Change that or keep it like Kobra/Darrius/Cage?
