If by TS move you mean leg fireball, then yes, he should come back with all of his moves.

I think Dariou has a 50/50 chance of getting in..

Personally, I'd rather Dairou were dropped, and his spot given to a better character. But IF he makes it back, he needs serious improvements, as he was ruined by having the dumbest looking moves in MK history. I can't take a guy seriously who's moves involve falling over to cause an earthquake, shooting star shaped fireballs from his leg, and snaps himself in half pathetically for a hara kiri.

Well, that's what Dairou is. It's like ken or ryu not having a DP, lol. Maybe tweak the properties or add some telegraph to it. Meh.

Well, true, but i also wouldn't mind Dairou getting dropped for say someone like Sektor,Reptile or Rain.Personally i think that the MK fans would have much more use with those characters than Daioru imo.smile

Well, I actually like Dairou and I hope he'll be in MK7. Yes, he was lacking in terms of storyline and purpose, but there are possible ways for him to have more of a storyline to him in MK7.

Gameplay wise, I think he should keep all of his moves as long as they are modified to making it balanced, especially the Tombstone Drop.

He should keep Wing Chun as his style and they need to put elbow and knee attacks in it since Wing Chun uses many close-ranged moves such as those. Also, Wing Chun is known for its hand-trapping techniques so that definitely has to be incorporated. I can't really say when it comes to Escrima though I know it's associated with various Filipino stick fighting arts and close-ranged stuff. I like his weapon the Autumn Dao and if both he and Kung Lao were to be in MK7, I hope that they will be distinctive enough from each other and I hope the Autumn Dao will be more balanced out.

Balance hi out story and gameplay wise. He's too good to be replaced by the likes of Rain, Reiko or other significantly lacking characters. But only if he's wastly improved.

out of ninjas, cyborg thugs, evil ninja robots, martial artists, martial artists with sharp hats, princesses, bodyguards with more than 4 limbs, undead movie stars, native american shamans, evil emporrers, gods and secret service agents, you say Stryker didn't fit in MK3?

TS: TombStone drop, I think.

I like Dairou, I like the mercenary idea. His look also seems to fit in MK essence. I didn ́t like his martial arts styles, though.

He should return :)
He needs to have much cooler looking moves.

The TS and Kick fireball look pretty lame IMO.

I like how Jarreck's Fall down move looked much better.

Instead of falling back, maybe he could just kick the ground.

Maybe since he can throw fireballs from his leg, have him kick the ground and an energy shock wave comes out and that's what pops the opponent up.

He should have power kicks with a yellowish shock wave when they hit.
Like his basic attacks but automatically powered up.

The kicks could be like Tae Kwon do kicks. Check out Baek's power kicks in Tekken 5 for an example.

Baeks moves that would look good with Dairou's yellow shock wave effect.

Flamingo, f+3

Flamingo, f+4

3+4

Lee Chaolan's ff+3

Raven's ff+4 or his f+3+4

Martial Law's ff+3 or Jan Lee's ff+k

A drop kick could work too.

The opponent would fly More like in DOA3 = very far away, or do more flips than normal = extra exaggerated.

Basically, kicks that normally knock the opponent down for regular fighters would be powered up for Dairou. Like Rain's round house

His lower legs could emit a faint yellowish glow or energy flame.

He could keep Wing Chun, but make it better. I'd like for him to change the stance, I don't like how it looks in MKD, loosen it up a bit.

Then replace his other style with maybe Tae Kwon do mixed with muay tai and kick boxing. A powerful and semi stylish looking Kick based martial art.

I'd rather just have them all as 1 style = Wingchun / TKD / Muay tai / Kick boxing.

So he would use a few quick punches, some parries and a lot of kicks.

Maybe he can use the energy for any part of his body, so he could still do the Tomb Stone. The shock wave from it would bounce him back up to the standing position. It would make more sense that way.

Tae Kwan Do completely misfits Dairou. He should use gong fu styles I think, and pesonally I would prefer if he used tiger styles or perhaprs Yong Chun. Those seem to fit his personality and movement culture well.

Yeah, I don't like the idea of Dairou having kicking based styles like TKD. I'd actually like to see him with Hung Gar. You ever watched Iron Monkey (the 2001 version)? There was a character called Wong Kei Yung (played by Donnie Yen) who looked a lot like Dairou and the style that he used in that movie was Hung Gar.

Interesting,so far, perhaps he should have a brazilian fighting style to replace his first stance, and either give him back Escrima as his second or possibly change it all together to Hung Gar.

But i do use him alot,i'm killer with him,but i have to admit the TS move is a tad bit annoying and cheesy, but if they give him back that move it should be either slowed down alot or changed like bleed said earlier.

Perhaps something like jumping up like a jump rope kind of.And when he lands it pops up his opponent, make it unblockable but predictable enough to see coming so that his opponent can actually have time to jump and avoid it.Thats what i think they should do with Dairou, and also give him a japanese karate mask to wear similiar to the masks they used in the movie "Three Ninjas"................I think that that would fit Dairou perfectly IMO.smile

I don't like Dairou. He is very cheesy and I mean very cheesy. Once I beat chess mode on MAX as Dairou with that lame TS move and that is all. He can get anywhere with that stupid move.

And I'll be very angry if he kills off Hotaru but then gets killed off in MK7. After all his storyline doesn't have much depth.

But one thing is for sure either Hotaru or Dairou will get killed off in MK: D.
