Is that the Dragon Medallion?

One of the first things I noticed in the trailer was the obvious medallion on Sub-Zero's chest. Could that be the Dragon Medallion?? It would seem to fit with the younger Sub if that is indeed his scar over the eye too.

Dragon medallion is larger and has the dragon logo on it. Even in 2011.

Are you talking about that? If you are, that would be the Lin Kuei's logo.

I've looked very closely at the trailer and I see no medallion on him anywhere, with the exception of the Lin Kuei logo on his chest.

Ah yes, thank you. Hmmm, strange that Sub-Zero would still be wearing the Lin Kuei symbol, especially on a new outfit...

That's actually a good point.

They probably just fucked up and didn't think about it.

The other possibility is that it's Bi Han, who I really don't want to see again.

Nah, think about it though. Who took over the Lin Kuei guys? Kuai Liang did. It may turn out he does it again here. If so it would only make sense that he's wearing the Lin Kuei garb.

Yes, in the original timeline. If this is indeed a sequel to MK2011, then both Sub-Zeros are dead and it seems like the Lin Kuei would be moving steadily forward with its cybernetics initiative, or more likely, Sektor will be taking over and creating the Tekunin.
