I figured as much. I just hope they go the darker route like they claimed they would in MK2011. Yeah it had much more gore and death but was it really dark? I didn't get that feeling.

Probably because of the Babalities. And the Challenge Tower to some degree.

Well, it was darker than most of the previous MKs. But they could do more, for sure.

MK9 wasn't that dark to me. The Krypt and the fatalities were really the only things it had in that category. I still think MKD had a darker feeling. However, whenever I imagine MK10, I see it being very dark. Very Netherrealm-themed. It would only make sense.

It'll probably be dark like MK4 and MKD(hoping anyway).

Yeah, same here. MK4 pulled it off pretty well, that game had a very sinister vibe to it, hopefully MKX can bring that back.

I think the artistic direction of it was what really made me think it wasn't very dark. To much 80s color pop. I know every character is known by specific colors but I think it can be toned down some. I'd rather see some subtlety than a bunch of flash. I've said it a thousand times and ill say it again... Vincent Proce had the right idea. Some of his designs were pretty bad but he got Raiden, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Reptile down pat.

Not really too hyped. Reveal will prolly just be the bare minimum, with an E3 trailer to come. Would be surprised to see more than Scorpion and a logo, honestly.

That's what I'm also thinking. Trying to keep my excitement levels to the minimum coz if we get a lot less than we expected to see, I'd be depressed as hell! At least gimme confirmation about the game and it will do for the time being
