The leader of the pack should be Sub-Zero. He was the underdog and he slowly climbed his way to the top, I think he deserves to be the lead man. After all Sub-Zero has alot of enemies and he is well known by most of the evil powers exept for Shao Kahn and Shang Tsung.

Kung Lao is an awsome character but having another Shaolin Monk as the main hero is kind of predictible. Kung Lao is fine where he is at. I hope Liu Kang is actually alive now so that those two could interact with each other again.

I agree that the monks has their turn, and now someone else should be the leader. And since Sub-Zero had his time in the spotlight for MKM:S-Z, I think that Scorpion should lead the pack. The storyline could be how he hates Shao Kahn.... or that he wants to rule outworld... or something like that
