Why is everybody so aggressively against the idea of Chrome/Khrome? I could have missed some, but the idea is good. Ninja is awesome and his moveset has potential.

And now we have an admission that these petitions have been flooded by bots.

Bots were only used for MARKETING AND PROMOTION, to advertise the product (petition) to demographics (people). If we had (fake) signatures by bots then it would be invalid but we don't. The people who signed the petition are REAL, so it's still LEGIT!

It's because the guy who first pushed this idea was an ass. He was racist and because he couldn't understand us because he lacked imagination (even the guys who tried to help him), he said everyone was an ass. So why help a guy who pretty much hates everyone?

Also he didn't really like Mortal Kombat since he doesn't like any other character except a shiny ninja. Liquid metal was just an idea he latched on. He doesn't really care about anything else except a shiny ninja existing (backstory, moves, and affiliations are whatever to him).

Don't let someone else make your mind up for you. You should like/dislike a character because that is how you feel about them, you shouldn't like/dislike a character because of said fans. They should have no influence on who you like/dislike. Being butt hurt because of this is silly.

But it's not a good idea, it's an attractive concept. The two are very distinct. Khrome is a walking cliche' of mid-late 90s obsession with chrome and mercury. Jesus Christ, I'm sure he Panks the Hank every night to a worn VHS tape of The Secret World of Alex Mack. Beyond that, the characterisation that this lunatic has put forward with regards to Khrome's powers is derivative -even by Mortal Kombat standards. Finally, no thought has ever been given to how much of a bitch this character would be to program; a reflective, morphing, semi-fluid, 3D character in a 2.5 D fighter?!

The fact of the matter is that Khrome has already been realized. Khrome is just Twelve from Street Fighter, and there are specific reasons Twelve is not well liked and hasn't shown up in a while.

This guy pretty much made Khrome his Mary Sue character. I remember at one point he wrote down Khrome is immune to fatalities. He giving random ideas for Khrome as long as Khrome was his hot topic.

Khrome isn't even a character. He's just a concept at this point because he lacks:
a) backstory
b) abilities
c) personality

The Khrome-pushing guy won't bother with any of those.

I wasn't aware of all that bs before. All i saw was a custom Khrome statue and my imagination. The idea and appearance of Khrome is what appealed to me. But i see where youre coming from.

This kinda makes want to come up with a backstory, moveset etc. for Khrome.

I am absolutely baffled that there are people who don't enjoy the hankypanky gimmick.

I mean, fans have been demanding his inclusion for years. As I type this, there's another thread, three pages long mind you, of hardcore (more like hardkore, am I right?) MK fanatics pleading for Khrome to be given a fair shake.

I know that Ed Boon reads MKO daily, so Ed, when you inevitably see this, add Khrome to MK11 and make this series great again. I know the character doesn't necessarily reflect your creative interests, but perhaps with some minor tweaks (certainly there's no reason his eyebrows couldn't be bushier), you just might fall in love with him the same way the fandom has.

I don't own Khrome, so I don't need to do anything really, I'm just a fan. You want a backstory here you go, I would like your feedback:

Khrome's organic metal skin, "liquid metal", or perhaps a super advanced Nanomachine suit of Powered Armor is fictional, either a virtually indestructible man-made (synthetically created) metal alloy kind of like Wolverine and his Adamantium skeleton and bone claws, where the substance is bonded to the character or it is magically made to be indestructible kind of like Wonder Woman and her Amazonium (magic metal) bracelets. Since it is not a naturally occurring (earth) metal, it does not dissolve in Tremor's lava, Reptile's acid etc.
