I think there will be 1 or 2 guest characters, my money is on Jason and Predator. Those are the 2 most requested and retweeted by Ed, so safe to assume so.

I think the classics will be anyone from MK1 or 2 that aren't in the game at launch, like Baraka for example or Shang Tsung. Just using those guys as examples because they're the ones not hinted at or seen in the towers from the latest trailer.

Well they would have to work out a lot of details because the Predator is liscenced by 21st Century Fox. WB is a movie studio so why would they have a character from another movie studio rival in their game? Seems very difficult. I think practically nil.

One of them is definitely going to be Jason. I can feel it. Especially considering there's a new Friday the 13'th film in development.

As someone who isn't a fan of guest characters, I would like to get to know who they are and get them out of the way so I can prepare myself, and be surprised for the new MK character or classic reveals when they are announced later.

Yeah I know, but Call of Duty actually got the Predator in their game as DLC somehow. Can't remember which game title it was. I know in this case it would be an issue with WB and Fox, but who knows? maybe there are ways to share the character if WB pays them an amount to use their character for MKX.

Definitely Jason for one the others are anyone's guess I doubt they will announce till its launched though because i know if the returning characters were crap ones like Baraka and Shang then I would cancel my order and get the regular game

Wasn't so keen on the idea of Jason or a Xenomorph being one but I'd be fine if it was Jason and any 1 from the below list:

Mad Max
Ash Williams
Big Boss (now being called Venom Snake)
Predator.

No ideas at all yet of who the two Klassic characters could be.

Jason is no longer own by Warner Bros. Paramount is doing the next Friday the 13th movie. They are not going to let a video game company own by Time Warner use him. Paramount and WB are revival companies.

I'm surprise no ever brings up the idea of Geralt for MKX when both MKX and Witcher 3 are being released by WB games in 2015?

I guess Spawn could be possible since Ed Boon likely gets a lot of request for him. I guess the guest character line up could be like this:

Guest #1 - A character from a WB movie or video game

Guest # 2 - A character not from a WB series

I would be okay with Geralt and Spawn or Predator as the two guest fighters.

I'd be very happy with Geralt, and from a movie Mad Max (new movie done by WB which is out this year).

Theres probably only gonna be 1 guest character. 2 is too much. I hated Kratos soooo much in MK9.

I never played any of the Witcher games but it looks like Geralt could fit in MKX. I'm surprise people never talk about the idea of him being a guest. He may not be very well known but having him in MKX could help promote Witcher 3. If he looks cool then people will buy him and could end up checking out Witcher 1-3.

Didn't CapCom go bankrupt last year? Maybe they'd welcome whoring out their characters. LoL. Give me Ryu and/or Dante from DeviL May Cry.

Any word yet if the Klassic Kombat pack is different from the regular DLC?
