Will it be making a return? Would you want it to?

Only is there is a deep possibility for kreating a character.
Armageddon was lame, butt there was another fighter with a nice kreate-a-character-like thing which worked very well.
NRS need to take an example of that.
Kreate-a-character is ok, only if it is done right.

Hell No!

Honestly? No.
I prefer the team work on better aspects of the game instead of building up a mechanic where you kreate a kharacter who will never look as good as the fighters in-game, who then will most likely have moves stolen from fighters (maybe with different colors). Not to mention the fatality issue. Will it be presets or even worse, kreated on the fly.

I tend to spend more time creating useless characters than to play the actual game. So... NO, thanks.

No, never again.
I don't even care if it's the most polished, perfect KAK ever, I don't want it to return.

No!!!!!!!! Worst feature ever!!!

For the love of god, PLS NOoooooooo.
I rather have them spend more time polishing the game adding more stuff then kreate a kharacter! Also to make this actualy work and be on the same level of good that MK 9 is, it will take A LONG ass time.

AFTER everything else is done, sure.
Also, DON'T MAKE ME BUY CLOTHING OR MOVES!!!
But, yeah, I'd love this, maybe we could get a REAL Kreate a Fatality?

I'd be down for this under the conditions that:
1. It is released as future DLC
2. Created Characters can only be played with in an exclusive online lobby
This way, it ensures a better chance the initial game is created with it's fullest potential, and that people can't use their broken characters to ruin ranked online stats. As a designer, I love these kind of features in games, simply for the purpose of creativity. As a gamer, however, I acknowledge that these features have been known to ruin games.

I hated Kreate a Kharacter in MK Armageddon, Midway invested so much time and effort into that mode when there was much more attention needed in the actual game, I don't want to see it return.

Please no...

I think a lot of people were soured on KAK after that garbage we got in Armageddon. I still think that, if done right, if they followed Soul Calibur's lead on preset move lists, but give a ton of clothing/ feature options (and I'd want way more than SC games have had), then if be in favor if it whole-heartedly.
That said, it'll never happen again. I think they tried it once and they're on to other things.

No. It's MK shouldn't be one of those games. Maybe character customization if they can do it right? But a full out character creation. Nah.

YES... For me this was one thing that kept bringing me back to Armageddon long after I had beaten it multiple times... I completely agree though that KAF characters should only be able to fight in specific online lobbys, they give more race options, they give more projectile options,... just MORE options in general... and the fact that it would be 2 console generations ahead its last incarnation means that it would look ALOT better
I think it deserves ONE more chance!

I hate the concept of created characters in fighters no matter how well they are done...so No.
Even if they give us a KaK exclusive lobby it would still be dividing the online community...I find It also takes away from the cast already available, I rather they spend the time polishing the game.

This. Armageddon could have been such a fun game if most of the attention wasn't thrown on Kreate-A-Fighter. Seriously, we have a cast of 60+ fighters, what the hell do we need this mode for? Most of that time and effort put into that junk could have been them giving some of the characters new costumes, or making better arenas, or coming up with a better fatality system.

It was fun for a little while, but it really ended up cheapening Armageddon. I don't think create-a-fighter suits Mortal Kombat.
In case you guys have forgotten, we have PS4's AND XBOX ONES! Technology is far more advanced now fellas. If there's going to be a kreate a fighter in this game, it's not going to mean any less effort is going to be put into the rest of the game.
