They should start giving warnings on this site. Like on CV if you do something that warrants a ban a mod will message you first informing you what you did wrong, not to do it again, and if you do you get banned.

I didn't take part on that but I find this really hypocritical, anyway, I guess this is a good sign of you overcomming your autism if you felt the need to express all of that to the whole community to the point that you created a whole thread to take all of that attention instead of leaving in silence, so good for you.

As a side note, something that I wanted to say on that thread is that we should have a sticky thread for all those "I can't stand this community and I'm leaving" threads (and also another one for all the "roster predictions" threads but that's a different topic).

I mostly try to stay out of this BS and stay "nice and friendly" most times, I learned long ago that it's just egos colliding and that never gives good results and usually destroy stuff, but I can't stand reading someone acting so offended to the point he creates that situation, then considers it's ok for him (but not others apparently) to attack a demographic group.

And fuck, Icebaby got banned over this? I mean, my opinions of her over the years are well-documented and they're not good, but she did NOT deserve that. Yes, I know she had priors. Yes, she's been guilty of posting completely idiotic things in the past, troll bait or not. However, the things she said were no worse than anything posted by others, including myself, and I freely admit to saying things that I probably shouldn't have. Never mind the arbitrary skulls thrown around for being off-topic that only seem to be going to certain people, or the completely ludicrous DP that was given (anyone reading these threads knows exactly which one I'm talking about). The points are a distant second to the fact that there was, quite frankly, an undeserved ban given out. I wonder if she was able to PM someone in power the situation before the hammer came down, and if not, whether that had anything to do with it. It's like this is wtflegend all over again.

The situation never would've escalated to this point during the days when I was on staff, but that's none of my business. Not even talking about my style of moderating, either; back then the mods were actually allowed to do their jobs. Crazy concept, I know. I have no problem saying that FerraTorr should've been banned before making that ridiculous departure thread, and surely that post would've been the nail in the coffin too, but I guess we're only policing things one way these days.
