what if midway took mk1 and mk 2 mashed them together and set it up similarily to mkd you'd have mk beginnings

youd start out with the original 7 charactors after you start a campaign were you fight everyone in mk1 with the centre hub being tsungs island(gta style) you find secret fights where you fight a charactor that is not in he original seven and if you beat them you unlock themafter you beat and unlock tsung say you go to outworld with the black tower being the new hub

first person you unlock would be reptile then goro, tsung, etc. with the last person being shao khan it would have alot of fan favorites(all 21 chars from mk1/2 including ermac)

plus a create a charactor mode
plus a regular arcade mode

it could be the oficial storyline for mk1 and mk2 to sort out alot of con fusion

what doos yous think

Shaolin Monks already seems to be doing this in a way, going between the end of MK1 and MK2. Plus I don't think they should mix beat em ups and adventures in the same game again. MKD was a real let down, imo with two half arsed gameplay modes instead of one good beat em up game.

I think they should make an action game or fighting game similar to Dragon Ball Z's Budokai series. I think after each fight there would be a cinema scene showing the events of each battle and could clearly and accuratley describe every detail of the Mortal Kombat games from the original up untill Mortal Kombat Deception. As you progress through the game you unlock characters that you can use in the versus mode, but you have to go through Kombat mode and pass certain chapters to get them.
