Note: I Know it's not going to be called triolgy 2
Me, I think that triolgy 2 should come out first, maybe have the dragon king kill everyone or something else, then MK 7 start out new and fresh; with thre Tounament Starting all over again!

i think the question is, is it even possible to make another trilogy game without it just sucking real bad? i mean thats over 60 characters. im not sure if they can even do that if they make the game 2D since ive never seen a 2D fighter even close to that many chars in the roster.
so to answer ur question well i got 2 answers....
if they make it 2D and that it actually will work (and is some thing like MvC rather than every one having same basic moves) then yes id like to see a trilogy 2 come out and would be fine with it coming b4 MK7. (id actually like to see a new 2D MK fighter)
now if they did it in 3D then HELL NO! if they made it 3D then i dont even see how it is even possible for them to do that unless the game really sucks! or maybe if they made the game like 3 or 4 disc with parts of the roster on each disc and having to load them all up that maybe work and would be interesting if they could pull that off well.

Well Trilogy 2 can be Mk 4 - 6, because Mk trilogy 1 was 1 -3?? So all you need is kai, funjin,Rekio,Sektor(MK gold), and Shinnok! And maybe have 2 - 6 serect characthers like rain, Motoro, etc. and all stages from 4 -6.

yea just of chars 4-6 may work. well even that im not sure would work. besides having all the chars from those games gotta have the stages too. unless they just pick and choose the most fav ones from those 3 games. but what about all the costumes? just pick 2 of them from 7 costumes? (i believe its 7 cuz in MK4 they got 3 costumes right?) back to the roster... could they even get that many chars into 1 game with out some thing suffering (like graphics and/or a decent fighting engine)? who would all be in the game? (ill name all i can think of who r in MK4-MKD. tell me if i miss any one)

plus 6 characters from MK's b4 MK4.... (these r who id guess)
Rain
Stryker
Kintaro
Motaro
Human Smoke
Sheeva
then again... well just look at that. thats nearly every single char right there! all but 8 chars in MK history (of playable ones) have been in MK4-MKD. with only the chars from MK4-MKD thats 53 chars (maybe 54 cuz i think im forgetting some one).
now unless u actually ment by having just the chars in MK4-MKD u ment only who was new in MK4, MKDA, and MKD then that would really shorten the list down to 29 including Noob-Smoke. but we also have to have Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Raiden at the least since Boon said they will always been in the roster of future MK's. that brings it to 32 overall wich i think they can do especially with us going into a new gen of consoles. but when looking at that roster of 32 chars there imo that looks like a pretty crappy roster. lets face it that most of them from MK4 arent that populare. only Fujin, Tanya, and Quan Chi have a good fanbase. most of them from MKDA have a good fanbase. none of them from MKD really have that good of a fanbase atleast not yet.
besides those 2 ways of going about it i got another idea that they could do. well first off find out how many chars they will be able to fit onto 1 disc (wich they should have more room with no unlockables and no other modes). lets say they could get like 40 chars. then they just choose the most fav new chars from MK4-MKD, have the top fav classics, and bring back some chars and maybe even have a few new chars. then again to me that doesnt sound like a roster for a new trilogy but more like one for MK7.
hmmmmm......
i guess anyway u look at it it doesnt seem to be possible to make another trilogy game that would actually be good. if they did it with just the new chars from MK4-MKD plus Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Raiden having a total of 32 chars the game would still suck cuz with that roster there isnt any REAL BIG fan favs besides Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Raiden.
seems like any way we look at it we're screwed out of getting a good 2nd trilogy. then again we dont even know for sure how many chars could be in a roster on the next gen systems. right now we r getting like 24 char rosters.
i hate to say it but i doubt we will ever see another MK trilogy. i dont see how its possible. unless its made as a new 2D MK wich i think would be kool.

I would much rather just see an all new MK7, rather then another cheap, badly made Trilogy style game. Trilogy was just an excuse to cram in a whole load of old stuff together, cutting corners in graphics and gameplay as a result.
No, give us a real sequel please. After MKD, the series needs serious work, and I'd prefer it if they spent the time doing this to give us a new improved MK7, instead of a barely playable rehash just for the sake of raking in a little more money.

I think they made a good decision to alternate every year between an adventure game/fighting game.
t's not something to fuck up with friggin MK Trilogy 2 or Mythologies 2
