"With Kombat Pack 2 right around the corner and the announcement last week from /u/nrstylerlansdown about the one we've all been bitching about- the netcode overhaul, there is a lot to look forward to. With that in mind, we are are going to be refreshing things here in /r/MortalKombat in the coming weeks.

We will be introducing new weekly content and events, including a few tweaks to the look and feel of the subreddit itself thanks to our talented /u/Xhogar."

Still publicity for the game and news worthy. And given that the official NRS Twitter linked to it, figured the announcement might be something of substance so better safe than sorry.

Oh, it's cool, but the name of the topic implied MKX was getting a new Twitch Channel and we'd get an MKX announcement on Wednesday.

I didn't know the NRS Twitter linked to it. Still, I don't think they would allow a fan site to announce something on their behalf on a twitch channel that isn't theirs.

Well, the NRS Twitter did not even announce the beta web-site going live, that should give you some idea how useful the NRS Twitter is.

Thanks! Kano is my only favorite that made the transition from MK9 to MKX. I found some love in Takeda and D'Vorah but now that "Cyrax" is back, I'm very excited!
