The movie starts out in the lair of the Dragon King. We see Onaga defeated and in a bloody mess. As what he looks like when you beat him. The Komidogu and the amulet are laying on the floor next to him. The camera pans around to find Shao Kahn entering the throne room. He walks over to the komidogu, does his taunting laugh and reaches for the amulet. As he grabs the amulet that would raise the dead army to further his chaos and total control of Outworld he startled by a blinding light.

Raiden, the dark former elder god stands on the other side of the throne room. He has a sense of anger in the pitch of his voice as he warns Shao Kahn, "Shao Kahn, so it is true that you are still alive. I have heard many different rumors but i knew deep down that you were still alive. You may or may not have heard that I have given up on the mortals, for they have let this fowl beats known as Onaga reap its wrath on the universe. Thay have also let me down as they stood back and did nothing after the death of there greatest defender and champion Liu Kang. Im sure you know him well as your first attempts to control earth were brought to a halt by him." Kahn begins to tense up as Raiden continues, "I have done everything i could do to protect that realm and have not even got any help in return, they continue to let there own die. The amulet in which you are about to claim as yours is more powerful then you can imagine Kahn, I know you have a hatred for me but please hear my words, as I cannot protect the Earth mortals any longer, I will give you something in trade for the Amulet. I will give you your royal servant Shang Tsung and Quan Chi, for the Amulet, sadly though thats all i can offer you."
Shao Kahn begins to grin, "Raiden, you fool. The amulet will be more powerful then any two servants, Quan Chi or Shang Tsung, with this amulet i will be able to raise the dead army, stronger then you or I, stronger then Liu Kang or any other pathetic mortal soldier. The amulet is mine, Earth realm will soon be mine, you will soon bow to me. The ruler of all life..."
Kahn reaches down next to Onaga's body and grabs the amulet, as he grabs the amulet the eyes of the Dragon King turn red, Kahn grabs ahold the amulet as Onaga grabs his wrist.
Raiden quickly shots a bolt of lighting hitting the amulet being held by Kahn, whose wrist was being held by the only wounded Onaga. The blast forced the amulet in the air. Onaga swings hard and connect with Kahn sending him backwards and flat out on his back. Raiden dissapears into electricity as Onaga reaches for the Amulet, as Raiden re-appears Onaga no longer aims for the amulet but instead stares at Raiden. Onaga then proceeds to bow to Raiden. Who grabs the amulet and utters the words, " The One Being walks the earth again."



This leads to the story of Raidens body being taken over by the "One Being" also leading to the return of Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. This being the big =--- Deception---= everyone was distracted with Onaga as the Dark One Being Raiden gained more power.
