A very interesting Interview of Edward john Boon. What a polite and nice man. Very relaxed and his eyebrows seem to have grown bigger haha. Some things that are said towards his career with Mortal Kombat were very interesting and new to know. (Atleast for me)

* The uppercut is an iconic move, but also started to hype around MK. It made clear to Ed and Tobias that they have something special to build onwards.

* Street fighter's dizzy mechanic inspired Ed? to have a special moment. Ed is a big fan of Street Fighter, and it inspired to have a moment to do somthing special. Which lead to the Fatality's eventually.

* The part where Ed. starts talking how both him and Tobias contributed on any erea towards MK. Where Tobias was more gameplay directed and Ed more visual directed. (I think in terms gameplay directed he ment "art in game" and in terms of visual directed "programming the art on screen") It is said that Tobias did like 80% of MK and that the actors contributed alot aswell. Not sure how accurate that info is. But very cool to know that Ed was that involved creative wise.

* The part where Ed. is asked why Tobias left the team. His answer was that John was dissatisfied with "something" and that he wanted more öwnership of the characters of MK. (Tobias is credited for most of the designs of the characters of MK) Tobias really wanted to invest more in the story department of MK. He did MK mytholgies, which i love, and MK special forces, which would have been a great game if he did not left.

It's sad that the things turned out the way they did. I still hope Tobias gets to do a story telling game of MK in the future.
