I'd love to see Kai back, after Stryker and Mavado, he is MK's most underrated character. With caperoia as one of his styles, he would work very well in the 3 style gameplay, and be more user friendly than he was in MK4/MKG. Fujin was boring in MK4, but he does have potential, and more unique things could be done with his wind powers.

Shinnok and Jarek are best left out. Both were just really copies of other characters (Shang Tsung and Kano). I liked Jarek at the time, but he's a one game wonder with no need to return.

Reiko especially, should never come back. He had nothing going for him but controversy and arguments, with the misguided endings falsely suggesting him to be Shao Kahn. Even members of the MK team have said he's a lame character who's best left forgotten.

Kai as revised, but i rather see him dead to show how dangerous MK is. Jarek-no reason to bring him back. Ripoff character, no autonomy, and also dead according to standard plotline. Fujin should come back revised,


Reiko will never come back if Midway sticks to it's announcements. Not even they liked him as a character.

Kai: I've always thought that Kai had a lot of potential. However he would need to change his look drastically(maybe have long hair with braids or something like that) and have a few cool moves and a better story line.

Fujin: Off course, it would be great to have a feud between dark Raiden and Fujin. Also with a few flying moves and a cooler look, he would be a must for MK7.

Reiko: YES! Reiko is an awesome character. Personnally I think that they should made a story line about him being Rain... both of these characters have a very similar storyline and it would make sense, since that we know now that Reiko is not Khan. I was dissapointed when Vogel said that Reiko was a lame character, nobody should say that about a character since every characters can be improve(and I'm sure he didn't mean it lol)

Jarek: hmm no, he was a generic Kano ripoff. The only thing he did was devaluating Kano and the great character he was and screwing up the whole black dragon storyline.

Shinnock: he was a cool character, but with Onaga , Dark Raiden and Shao Khan having major roles in the storyline, I don't know what they
could do with Shinnock


However I'm surprised that you didn't mention SAREENA and SEKTOR those 2 characters should really come back in the next MK game IMO

In my dream fantasy world, Reiko would come back, connected to Sareena like he was supposed to have been and he'd be all bad ass and everyone would forget the Shao Kahn shit.
But I won't get my hopes up. Even if they were to bring him back, they'd probably make him yet another Shao Kahn bitch.

I'm all for second chances, but there's no real point in bringing Jarek back. The only thing....yeah, the ONLY thing unique about him was he, unlike Kano, wasn't willing to whore himself to the boss. Is that enough to really bother?

I'd like to see Shinnok back. I think he could play an interesting role with Raiden going dark and the One Being emerging as a major threat. Fujin too. All Shinnok needs is his own moves and a revamped look and Fujin just needs his own real story purpose.

Kai has potential and I wouldn't mind seeing him back. He needs a much better story or purpose though because he was just there in MK4 and that was it.

I've already said it a hundred times and I've already gone on and on about it...Sareena needs to get into a real game.

I want Sektor back. I always thought he was the coolest of the cyborgs and I want to see where the Tekunin goes.

Another one-timer I'd like to see return is Kintaro. I see him as being a raging nutbball who goes psycho over any little thing. They could build him up as pissed he's stuck in Goro's shadow....because he is really. He could join Onaga to prove he's the strongest Shokan which would be interesting since Goro's back and working for Shao Kahn now.
And after Onaga's gone, Kintaro the psychopath could be forced to join the good guys. That'd be an interesting scene...

yes I agree!!! I never like Kabal, Smoke or Ermac but On MK:D, they were Awesome!!
