Mortal Kombat X mobile tie in game

Looking at how NRS released Batman Arkham City Lockdown for Arkham City, Injustice mobile game and Batman Arkham Origins mobile game, it kind of gives a hint that MKX will also accompany a similar mobile tie in game.

NRS has got it's own separate mobile development team which makes these games. They have opened a job vacancy for a senior software engineer recently.

Given the buckets of money Injustice made on the iOS, I have no doubt we'll see something similar for MKX.

I do hate the idea of using it for unlocks, though.

While I wasted many an hour on the Injustice mobile game I do hope the unlocks are a little easier to achieve. Don't wanna miss anything in MK.

I seriously hope that it doesn't have cross unlocking features like in Injustice. And also It was almost pay to win after the first couple of missions which was very irksome.

If they do do this I hope to god they release it on android as well. Got screwed over for the longest time because it was only on iphone when it first dropped

No fucking way. It's like buying half a game for the price of a full one if there are certain features on a device that's not even the console you're using.

There are huge gaps in my Injustice save because of this and it's just money-grabbing trolling from the company that ALREADY got paid.

I would much rather an adventure of sorts, for mobile platforms. Something that ties into the story and maybe gives us more insight.

Same here. Having to unlock the ios crap in the Ultimate Edition is preposterous ! They should all be included...Which is why I got the Vita version grin

I remember a time long ago when games had everything on the disc and were unlockable which made MKD so much fun.

everything being online gives benefits such as gameplay tweaks, patches and DLC content that prolongs the lifespan of the games.

Sadly Now we're plagued by mobile tie in unlocks, day one DLC and I hope to God that MK don't follow the Free To Play model.....
