I would settle for 1 MKDA-MKD era character (other then or in addition to kenshi because he is too obvious) just to give the era at least some representation. Don't get me wrong I would love to see Havik, Nitara, dhramin etc but don't think its in the cards.

But c'mon NRS give us Havik at least just as a nod to the era. As for MK4 shinnok really needs to be included tanya and fujin would make sense as well.

with all the outworld fighters kind of surprised outworld isn't a faction they shouldn't really be lumped in with TBHOS

My hype level is killed today, all these bad reveals (Jax, Liu Kang, Sonya Bland) really? Were are the MK4/Deception add-ins that would make up for some other flavor than just the overused, boring old that keep dying and returning...

This is just MK9 with the best characters (kabal/Sektor) cut and the worst characters returned (liu, sonya and jax)

Rather seen Johnny Cage back.
Blegh, at least the Bow Character kept my interest.

Liu kang is more popular and was played as more than every character you like.

Again YES, because people are ugly sheep that don't have own opinions and can't look further than the obvious, boring overused choices, that's why i'm far superior than any of those horrid sheep.

Not one to jump on hate bandwagons but just have this to say; if you think you're so superior to everyone else in taste, that probably means 1) you're self-centered or 2) you're an egotist.

People like who they like for their own reasons. People have the capability to discern things or characters they like despite 'poster boys' of franchises being shoved in their faces.

Pull your head out of your own ass and have consideration for others personal choices. You like who you like, that's fine. Don't shit all over everyone elses favorites.

Outworld is a place though, not a faction. That would be the same as having "Earth" be a faction, and having to lump Cassie, Kano, and Kung Lao altogether.

The complexion of his skin and the red hat on his head scream Shinnok to me. We don't know what style of martial arts he will use, so the pose is irrelevant.

We just need a name for the faction(s) , i can't name them since I don't know the story but Kotal Khan, Dvorah, reptile? etc as part of Kotal Khans following and Mileena, Goro, Baraka? etc as ones who oppose Kotal Khan. But maybe by this time in the story all are under kotal Khans control.

Within the storyline a name would be easy such as Followers of Khan etc.

So what would Scorpions faction be I'm guessing The Brotherhood of Shadow but during my time reading the new comic volume 1 of MKX it states Scorpion has defeated his wraith and is no longer clinging to the past and he is now a good guy so will be be joining Raidens white lotus or remain a part of the Brotherhood of shadow?

so what your saying is factions don't really matter because they are no assigned to your favorite kharecter such as mines being Scorpion if it did mean anything i would be picking brotherhood of shadow. but if you are saying it doesn't matter then i could pick special forces even tho i dont give a damn about sonya blade, cassie cage, jax and all them annoying kharecters in the MK universe i just think it would be better if when you pick a faction you get assigned so many kharecters to play as suck as white lotus being raiden and kung lao and more and brotherhood of shadow being quan chi and scorpion and special forced being jax and cassie and the others who will match these factions.
