Yeah, he also kicks Sonya's, Reptile's, Baraka's and Kano's ass in chapter one of MK9 but still gets pwnd by Kahn. But we're diluting the point here. Just because I'm not in full swinging support of your favorite character doesn't mean I'm insulting him.

I knew that, but come on, even then! Johnny only trick Shinnok, Liu Kang beat him in Mortal Kombat. He envolps himself in green energy?? Liu can turn into a fucking Dragon! Don ́t get me wrong, since the last Mortal Kombats Johnny Cage became one of my top 3 characters, not only as a playable character but also as story character. (The development of the characters is going in a good way) but we must reconize its limitations in terms of the story. I mean, if you suddenly put Cassie in MK fight against Raiden, its more than ovbious that she won ́t win, even if she envelops herself in homing missiles (im just kidding) but even then is ilogical.
If he beat Scorpion and Sub zero, its Ok great Job, but in a 25 years time, multiple re matchs could happend and the results could be dieferent, but in more than 500 years, only one person beat the hell out of Shao Khan.
Johnny ́s part in the story will be more than relevant and if wasn ́t for him Sonya and Kenshi, Liu and the others maybe where still revenants of Quan Chi.
But if you put Johnny in a Deadmatch againts Liu... Liu Would rip out his throat and put it into Johnny's mouth, so he would stop talking.
