I've read most people's ideas for characters in MK7, and am impressed, particularly by Chrome and Rubin's work. Here's a few bios written by me, some of the characters I wanna see next MK. Tell me what you think, I'm open to comments and ideas. And post your own stuff too if you want. Anyway, enough of this, here goes with the bios.

Kung Lao.

Alignment- Good.
Fighting Styles- Shaolin Fist, Mantis
Weapon- Curved Sword (Liu's MK4 weapon)
Allies- Johnny Cage, Li Mei, Ermac
Enemies- Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn, Goro, Raiden

After being freed from Onaga's control, I witnessed first hand drastic changes in Raiden's temprament. Although I did not see Shujinko's death, the thunder god had admitted this, telling me that he had put the Earthrealm at peril. Where he had once been tolerant of humans mistakes, now he decided that anyone, no matter how unintentionally, or if they make up for it, who puts the Earthrealm at risk, must die. I openly defied this new belief, arguing with Raiden, much to his anger, and the god made it clear that things would be done his way or no way. Raiden's judgement and methods have become increasingly dark and vicious, and I can no longer battle under the guidance of a madman.

First, I went to my old friend Liu Kang, and explained everything. He knew this already, but had decided that for now, it was better to stand together, even if it meant enduring a violently insane diety. Regrettably, this caused a row between us lifelong friends, so I sought to find help elsewhere. The rulers of Edenia, Kitana and Sindel actually approved of Raiden, and the Lin Quei and Special Forces turned me away, claiming I had not enough proof of Raiden's madness. Eventually, I did manage to find allies to unite with me, who also felt it was time to take a stand against Raiden. The first was Li Mei, who had received training from Shujinko, then Johnny Cage, another longtime friend of ours put off by the newly bloodthirsty Raiden. And the being who helped save me from Onaga, Ermac, looking for another opportunity to atone for past sins.

Together, with anyone else who will join us, we aim to bring our old friend Raiden to his senses once more, before he himself becomes a danger to Earthrealm. If that proves impossible, we are more than willing to battle him, just as we would any other threat to our realms. During the course of this, I have also learned that my ancestral enemy Goro is still alive, and worse, back in league with Shao Kahn who also survived. Now I have not one, but two difficult battles ahead of me, but two which I must overcome, or I fear the worst.

Mavado.

Alignment- Evil
Fighting Styles- Long Fist, Shua Chaio (Hsu Hao's 1st style)
Weapon- Large pair of Sickles
Allies- Quan Chi, Baraka
Enemies- Sub Zero, Sonya, Black Dragon, Kenshi
Appearance- Like before in his MKDA 1st outfit, but with pale, almost white skin and a big scar in his belly from Kabal's hooksword.

Who would have thought that my death would make me stronger? After Kabal killed me, I was banished to the Netherrealm to pay for my crimes. Instead, I came across the reformed Brotherhood of Shadow, led by Quan Chi, my most recent employer before death. Defeating five Shadow assassins, and due to our past association Quan Chi took me into the clan. There, I was trained long and hard in fighting and assassination techniques, and other skills far beyond those of ordinary human beings. I had been reborn as a Netherrealm warrior, though still kept my old human appearance. Some time later, Quan Chi's true intentions, and where I would fit into his latest scheme were explained to me.

The sorceror was recruiting those he considered to be the most evil, ruthless beings of their different realms. United under his leadership, we would tear through all those who stand in our way and take power for ourselves across the universe. I was to return to Earth, and bring the Red Dragon clan into this army, in return, we had the opportunity to become the first criminal organisation to actively operate in multiple realms. Since my death, the Red Dragon had become weakened, lacking clear leadership, so this proved to be easier than expected. What I did not expect was for Kabal to attempt to rebuild the Black Dragon. This time, I will crush them while they are a small group, they will never again gain the chace to become a rival clan to the Red Dragon.

Raiden

Alignment- Good
Fighting Styles- Jui Jitsu,
Weapon- Nan Cuan, Staff
Allies- Liu Kang, Kitana
Enemies- Shao Kahn, Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Kung Lao

Shujinko's death was a necessary step in the protection of our realms. He was responsible for Onaga's return, and whatever he achieved afterwards cannot make up for this. Over time, it has become clear to me that my methods in protecting us all must change. All those who would put our worlds at risk must die, we came too close to losing everything against the Deadly Alliance, and then the Dragon King. The ends justify my means, but sadly, not all of my allies see things in this way. While the former champion of Mortal Kombat Liu Kang, and the Edenian ruler Princess Kitana joined me immediately, not everyone followed.

Some, like the Lin Quei prefer to sit on the sidelines, claiming they have their own battles. But the worst came from Kung Lao, who has openly defied me, claiming my much needed new methods were wrong, and found other to join with him. He claims he is trying to bring me to my senses, but I have never seen things any clearer than I do now. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and my way is the only way in which we can finally win. I would take no pleasure from the action, but if Kung Lao or anyone else stands between me and protecting the realms, then I will have no choice but to eliminate them as well.

We are at war, with enemies at all sides. And the sooner everybody accepts this and acts accordingly, the better we will be able to overcome our foes. The threat has gotten a lot higher than when this started, and I have no choice now but to fight fire with fire. I can have no patience with those who refuse to do what I tell them to, what is necessary for all our sakes, I have led them to victory before. I can do so again, but we must change, adapt to the new situation in order to come back from the brink of final defeat.

Li Mei.

Alignment- Good
Fighting Styles- Baji Quan, Liu He Ba Fa (both MKDA styles)
Weapon- Kun Lun Dao (MKD sword)
Allies- Kung Lao, Johnny Cage, Ermac
Enemies- Quan Chi, Raiden, Shang Tsung

During the final battle against Onaga, I spent much of the time helpless, due to the corruption in my soul. Thanks to the Deadly Alliance's earlier sceme, I spent most of the fight in an internal battle with the corrupting force, which tried to force me to join Onaga. Fortunaltely, my allies managed to defeat and kill the Dragon King, and my friends helped me snap out of this. I also come to terms with the death of my teacher Bo Rai Cho, killed in the battle. Now, I was hoping everything was back to normal, I was wrong. Deciding that my friend and one time mentor Shujinko was personally responsible for Onaga's return, the thunder god killed him mercillessly. I would have quit the battle there and then, as all seemed lost if even those supposed to be heroes could turn on each other like this.

Another former student of Bo, Kung Lao found me, and explained that he had been vocal in his opposition to Raiden's new methods. Immediately, I offered to join him, glad there were others who saw sense, and the actor Johnny Cage and being know as Ermac followed too. While I continue my training with them, I must also suppress my inner evil, growing strong again after I learnt that Quan Chi still lives. Kung Lao told me of a sword in the Netherrealm which can cleanse a soul of evil, perhaps this is what I need to finally get rid of the Dragon King's taint. Not only must we convice Raiden to see sense before he himself, becomes a danger to all realms, I must also get to the Netherrealm and find this sword, and the man responsible for the evil in my soul... Quan Chi.

Quan Chi.

Alignment- Evil
Fighting Styles- Escrima, Tang Soo Do
Weapon- Living Weapon (seen in MKDA concepts. A staff with a severed head, rumoured to have been Shinnoks)
Allies- Mavado, Baraka, Brotherhood of Shadow
Enemies- Sub Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, Sareena

Unknown to most, I had managed to survive the initial battle with Onaga, and escape after Raiden's foolish sacrifice. During the events afterwards, I lay low, waiting for the chance to take back what was mine. When Onaga had finally been killed, I came across the Cleric of Chaos Havik, removing the Dragon King's heart. He was welcome to it, I now have my amulet back, overlooked by everyone else in the heat of battle. With the amulet back in my possession, I returned once more to the hellish Netherrealm. There, I reformed the Brotherhood of Shadow, and under my leadership, we became a feared clan once more.

But there was potential for so much more, and this time, I would not make the mistake of sharing my newfound power with those who dared consider themselves my equals. Having taken in the deceased Red Dragon leader Mavado, and teaching him the Brotherhoods techniques, he agreed to ally his criminal clan with me, for our eventual attack. I also gained the services of the Tarkatans led by Baraka, and from him now know that Mileena is posing as the Princess Kitana. This knowledge could prove most useful in my long term plan. I have also recently constructed a new weapon, one which increases my powers of sorcery even more. Interestingly, it uses the severed head of my former ally Shinnok, dead, but still containing all his knowledge of dark magic.

After recruiting Mavado and Baraka, I set about gathering all those considered to be the most evil, ruthless beings from across the realms. United under my leadership, our moment is coming near. With Raiden's forces divided and fighting amongst themselves, as well as more prominent threats such as Shao Kahn, the time is perfect to launch our first strikes. So far, our enemies have been too wrapped up in their own petty battles to successfully stand against us, and at this rate, the realms will be mine. For now however, I'm quite enjoying the sight of former allies battling each other over different beliefs, and am content to let them continue in this way. Once they destroy themselves internally, my forces will make their big attacks, picking off any who happen to survive.

Baraka.

Alignment- Evil
Fighting Styles- Hung Gar, Silat
Weapon- Blades
Allies- Quan Chi, Mavado
Enemies- Mileena, Sub Zero, Kitana

Mileena, who I loved for so many years has now turned on me! Throwing me aside now that she has managed to fool everyone into thinking she is Kitana. But I know the truth, and many attempts have been made to kill me. With everyone thinking she's the Princess, she can easily justify sending the Edenian armies on missions against me. A short while ago, a regiment of Edenian soldiers found me alone, and wounded from a previous encounter with Mileena. Her mission to get rid of me very nearly succeeded, but help came from a most unlikely source. The Netherrealm sorceror Quan Chi, and human criminal Mavado appeared, and helped me overcome the soldiers. We left no survivors.

It turns out that Quan Chi was looking to recruit me and the Tarkatans into the new army he'd secretly been building. He said in return that I would be given power over Edenia. The opportunity to take vengance on that realms royalty, their Earthrealm allies, and most importantly Mileena. We accepted, and while our enemies are caught up in their own battles, we make our first attacks. One day soon, the Tarkatans will cut bloody paths through Edenia, and rule that realm my way! Best of all, the false princess Mileena, now cannot possibly win. Even IF she manages to kill me, her secret will not die, and it will be her downfall. She will learn the price for using and betraying a true Tarkatan warrior like me!

Sub Zero.

Alignment- Good
Fighting Styles- Shotokan, Dragon
Weapon- Kori Blade
Allies- Smoke, Sareena, Kenshi
Enemies- Noob, Quan Chi, Baraka, Mavado

Recent events have been very trying for me. Considering me and the Lin Quei the biggest threats to his rule, Onaga sent much of his force in attempts to kill me. Kenshi saved me from an attack by Hotaru, slaying the Seidan guardsman, and with my newfound ancestral armour, I managed to overcome the Tarkatan hordes. Worse was to come, but not in the form of Onaga as I expected. Instead, I have learnt that my older brother is still alive, in the form of an evil Netherrealm wraith now named Noob. To make matters more difficult, he was in control of my best friend Smoke. After a long and vicious fight in his home realm, I managed to defeat them, but discovering his true indentity distracted me, allowing Noob to escape, first throwing shuriken into the cyborg's most vital parts.

I feared the worst, Smoke was seemingly beyond all help. But another demon, this one fortunately an ally of the Lin Quei's named Sareena appeared. Using magic she had learnt from her time with Shinnok, she managed to revive Smoke, but in an unexpected way. My oldest friend was now reborn in an almost transparent, etheral form, but this time was not vunerable to the manipulations his cyborg body was. Together, we returned to the Lin Quei base, to prepare ourselves for the next threat. During this time, the Shaolin monk Kung Lao came to me with wild stories of Raiden becoming increasingly dark, and violent. Having been in the Netherrealm, I had seen none of this, and told him I would not join him without unquestionable proof.

Now, I begin to doubt whether this was the right choice. Raiden has certainly changed, and this has resulted in former allies splitting into two distinct sides, Radien's and Kung Lao's. Sadly, for now, while we will aid both groups, the Lin Quei must stay out of these arguments. We act as mediators between the sides, nothing more. There are more urgent matters, such as the reappearance of Shao Kahn's forces, and from Sareena I learnt that Quan Chi is also planning his next move. Then I is also the new threat from Noob, the demon who was once my brother. Next time we meet, I must slay the wraith, and lay the soul of my honourable elder brother to rest.

Here is my Sub-Zero

Name: Sub-Zero
Age: Eternal
Allignment: Good
Allies: Lin Kuie
Enemies: Noob Saibot, Frost, Smoke

After my meeting with the Tarkatan horde i was left wounded and weak. I was found by me fellow Lin Kuie members. My meddalion felt like it didn't like the beating i absorbed. I could feel pulses running through my aging body.

My brother has found away to raise the kin who should be dead. My hatred for my brother grows with his every breath of wrechid life. His soul is lost, it was lost before his stay in the Netherrealm, there is no saving him without killing him. Smoke, my old friend doesn't know who to follow. His controls have been locked and his alliegence is with my brother. Smoke, im sorry to say will have to die as well. My apprentice Frost, has gone missing from her tome. The same tome i locked with my ice blast after her unfortunate death after the the attack of the Dealy Alliance. I figure her greed has finally got the best of her, i believe she has taken the job of leanring from another. My brother has ripped the things i love most away from me, my father... who he killed for the claim to the throne, my best friend... Smoke, and my beloved trainee and the one i loved... Frost.

My medallions power has grown stronger. I dont know how, there was no scripture that for saw this. I was teaching a class one day when my medallion send a blast through me. I went to the medical wing of my ice palace and thats where i fell into a deep dream state. I awoke, aged, tired, but with a different feeling running through me. I had grown a beard, my hair had grown passed shoulder length, its old and grey. I thought i may had slep through the last fourty years of my life, but nothing in the outside had world had aged. I was told i has been asleep for the last twelve days and no one knew what had happen. I knew though, my meddalion. My powers were stronger, more ability, more ways i could finally kill my brother.

--Ending--

I trailed my brother for days, until we found our selves on the same bridge with only fire belowe. We fought. He used his shadow powers, i could see something dangling from his neck. Everytime i hurled a ball of ice at him it seemed to have no effect. His powers were strong, i was aging and was becoming brittle. I had gone through many horrindous trainings in my youth not so long ago, but the pain was nothing like this fight. I finally connected with a ice blast from deep down inside me, a kind of force i had never felt before. upon hitting him he flew back in a pile of rubble. I jumped on him with anger inside of me that wished to kill. I was struck from behind.
There she stood, a differnt girl i fell in love with so long ago. Her powers stronger, her hair dark her, mask dark. I fell to the ground. She picked up my brother and lifted his mask. They began to kiss.
Something inside me, an anger, a rage, a bolt of fury shot through me. A blast like nothing i ever shot, hit the feet of Frost and Noob. I thought it wasn't enough, it looked easily breakable, the blast didnt even freeze them all the way. I feel backwards in a since of pitty. Then my eyes caught the ice belowe there feet. They began to taunt as the ice slowly froze there feet, there legs, there torso. Soon they both were frozen. I rose to my feet. I only wished there was a way to save her, my love for her burnt inside me, but i knew she was not the same girl. I felt a chill in my feet as i blasted them both with a kick of ice, shattering there helpless bodies into a thousand pieces, they fell into the lava. I was complete now. Smoke would no longer answer to anyone but himself, something i had been trying to program inside him for a long time. My brother finally dead, and my love finally in a tomb no one can escape.

Name: Kano
Age: 39
Birth Realm: Earth
Allignment: Outlaw
Allies: none
Enemies: Everyone

Fighting Styles; Armored Fist, Ausi Strikes
Weapons: Kombat daggers

Since my supposive death at the hands of my worst enemy Movado, my once ruthless gang the Black Dragon has seemed to take a twist of kind heartedness. The only person in the new Black Dragon that should actually be there is my old chum Kabal.
I was left a bloody mess by Mavado after his cowardly attack, I thought i was dead. I found that my arm was torn and that my organs hurt badly. A pain i have never felt before, worse then the pain when i lost my eye in that electrical accident so long ago. I remembered a Earth realm doctor who fixed my eye with the mechanical parts, he worked for the old Lin Kuie. Back when the Lin Kuie was just as ruthless as my gang, together we fought. Now the Lin Kuie is as weak as my old gang, they would not allow me to see the doctor since they have always had a target on my head.
I ventured by humvee to a mile out from the Lin Kuie temple. I treked in untill i found some ninja guards sleeping. I made quick work of them with my kombat knives, i took one of their outfits. I passed by many more soldiers who kept looking, but never noticing my distingtuve roughness and injuries.
As I was walking through the temple ground looknig for the doctor who went by the name Harazzem Tagarado, I came across a ninja in a great suit of armor. He noticed my bleeding and had me rushed to the doctor, it was him. I noticed his technology was much better as his robotic parts now had weapons and better medal. He fixed my arm and worked on my organs. I felt ver robotic and full of energy. As he finished he began to take off my mask. He noticed my medal on my face. He knew who i was. I cut him thuroughly. The guards found the dead bodies and were on to me, i escaped through a window. I dove to the waters below and hid until the guards gave up the search.
With my arm and organs fixed i took my humvee back to the US, were I came across a wounded reformed Black Dragon. They didnt recognize me. Thy threatened to kill me and they bound and gagged me. I was captured my my own gang.Luckely Kabal recognized me and let me loose, when he told Kira she told me I wasnt welcomed back to the gang. A kid named Kobra tried to kill me, he was easy work. I then ordered Kabal to kill Kira, she was nothing special. It was now me and Kabal, to track down Movado and Tricenton, the last remaining Red Dragon, and everyone else who oppsoses us.

Because you ask so nicely Chrome, the Shang Man is indeed included in my next batch. Note, for Shang Tsung, I'm thinking that if we don't have the technology to give him morphs, perhaps have him like Edge Master in Soul Calibur. Using every style, but at random, just a thought.

Shang Tsung

Alignment- Evil
Fighting Styles- Has knowledge of all styles
Weapon- Has ability with all weapons
Allies- Mileena, Drahmin
Enemies- Raiden, Liu Kang, Quan Chi, Shao Kahn

I barely survived the battle against Onaga, and as a result was severely weakened. I lost much of the power I had gained, and aged terribly, and was helpless for most of the battle against Onaga. But, unknown to him, Raiden himself provided me with a means of retoring much of my lost strength. Just after he killed Shujinko, I approached the body, his soul not yet having left. With painful effort, I stole his soul, not realising the true power Shujinko possessed. Rarely have I consumed a soul so strong, and I felt the power of many fighting styles come into me, becoming my own.

Unfortunately, I have learnt that many of my greatest achievments with the traitor Quan Chi were for nothing. My great enemy Liu Kang has been ressurected, and the Emperor Shao Kahn still lives, we killed a mere clone. However, my alliance with the Netherrealm Oni still stands, and I have also gained another powerful, unexpected ally. Mileena, who I created as a mutant clone to Princess Kitana, now posing as the Princess and deceiving almost everyone. She found me, and as I do not yet have the strength to control my new powers, I was defeated. However, she revealed her real self to me, and I managed to convince her to spare my life, that I would aid her in her great lie.

I even helped her become a more convincing Kitana, using an old spell to give Mileena the ability to change from Kitana's beautiful face to her own at will. Our alliance is secret, and I currently pose as a royal advisor, together directing the Edenian armies. Not even Raiden himself, or Queen Sindel know who we really are, Mileena using the Thunder God's violent new outlook and the division in his forces to our advantage. It feels strange to be serving one of my own creations, but I am confident that, once I gain the means to control my new strength, I will take absoloute power for myself.

Mileena

Alignment- Evil
Fighting Styles- Yuan Yang, Eagle Claw
Weapon- Sais
Allies- (false) Sindel, Raiden, Liu Kang (real) Shang Tsung
Enemies- Kitana, Baraka, her false allies

It feels good to be the Ruler of Edenia at last, just like I should rightfully be. As far as most people are concerned, I am Princess Kitana. A recent secret alliance with the sorceror Shang Tsung has made my deception all the more convincing, I can now take on the face, as well as the body of my hated sister. The Thunder God Raiden, my "mother" Queen Sindel and the former champion of Earthrealm Liu Kang do not suspect a thing. I have even managed to use Raiden's new darkness to my own ends, convincing him that those like Kung Lao who go against him are the real threat. With him in his current state, we can wipe out many of my enemies before anyone even becomes suspicious.

The only downside is Baraka, he knows the truth, and I have not been able to eliminate him. Worse, I suspect he has found allies, so his secret will not die with him. But, thanks to Shang Tsung's magic, the mutant and whoever he's with now will have a much harder time proving their claims. With our enemies divided, I will manipulate Raiden's madness and lead the Edenian forces in missions where they will destroy themselves as much as they do my enemies. As another precaution, I have the real Princess Kitana hidden away, out of sight, but alive in case I need to use her to manipulate her friends. Soon, when my enemies are all but destroyed and the realms are in chaos, I will take over completely, and rule as my true self, Millena. No one shall stand in the way of the true Queen, the realms will be under my rule.

Johnny Cage

Alignment- Good
Fighting Styles- Karate, Jeet Kune Do
Weapon- Three Piece Nunchucka (not sure of the real name)
Allies- Kung Lao, Li Mei, Ermac
Enemies- Quan Chi, Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn, Raiden

I don't know the full story of what happened while I was under Onaga's control, but it's changed Raiden for the worse. Since being freed by Ermac, I have noticed that our old guide and mentor has become far more agressive, preaching death to anyone he considers a threat. And that seems to be anyone who doesn't jump when he tells them to, dares to question whatever mad order he comes out with next. Liu Kang and the Edenian royalty went alomg with this, agreeing with Raiden's new direction, and others like Sub Zero and Sonya prefer to sit out, taking no sides, even with evidence that the Thunder God is crazy. Only Kung Lao openly argued with the God, and actively split from the main group. He told me about Shujinko and his death, and it made sense, I also chose to join Kung Lao.

Together with Li Mei, a student of Bo Rai Cho, and Ermac, who saved me from Onaga, we now have to bring Raiden back to his old self, before he himself becomes as big a threat as Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi. I hope that for all our sakes that we succeed, divided as we are, we don't have much chance. There's also something very wrong with Kitana, but I can't quite work out what it is. In a recent fight against Baraka, after I beat him he said something about Kitana "Not being what she seems" and threatening that "I'd find out soon enough". I've told Kung Lao this, and he puts it down to her desicion to side with Raiden, but I think there's something else. But that has to take a back seat to our mission to bring the Thunder God in line, and to battle our many enemies.

Havik

Alignment- Neutral
Fighting Styles- Two, unique styles that take advantage of his unnatural body and limbs.
Weapon- Morning Star
Allies- Stryker, Black Dragon
Enemies- Hotaru

Having successfully consumed the heart of Onaga, I possess the power to raise the dead. My first ressurection was to be Shao Kahn, former Emperor of Outworld. Imagine my disappointment to find a mere clone, the original, unknown to me, still being alive. I disposed of this useless copy and sught more suitable subjects for ressurection. I found one in an Earthrealm defender killed during Shao Kahn's invasion, Kurtis Stryker. This man had been an officer of the law during life, but came back with confused memories, very easy to manipulate into the ways of Chaos.

Showing him visions of his battles, and recents events, I convinced him that everyone, including his former allies was a threat to Earth, that must be eliminated. This proved easier than I imagined, with Raiden's turn to the dark side, and he was taken in. Stryker's expertise with modern Earthrealm weapons remains, and he has become another instrument in fuelling the chaos across the realms. But I cannot rest on my laurels, or order may be restored, and who wants that? I have also learnt that Mileena is posing as Princess Kitana, the real Kitana locked up hidden away. This proved too good an opportunity to throw things out of balance, for me to pass up. Indirectly, I guided the Princess's friend Jade to rescue her, and will enjoy watching the clash of Princesses, genuine and imposter.

Like Chaos itself, I answer to nobody, and will affect everybody. Events have been getting out of hand recently, with many trying to impose their authority in some way. Soon, all the realms will be thrown into uncontrollable anarchy, just as the Chaosrealm is. So many desire absoloute power, none shall possess it!

I'll be doing more bios when I have the ideas for which characters to write up next.

Shao Kahn---

Alignment: Evil
Allies: Reptile, Goro, Kintaro, Scorpion, and Rain
Foes: Shang Tsung, Mileena, Quan Chi, Mavado

Styles- same as MKD

Bio: Most think I am dead. The fool Shang Tsung and his partner thought they had killed me. I hid in the shadows until the whole mess with the dragon king had blown over. When it did I recruited Reptile, Goro, Kintaro, Scorpion, and Rain, a team of warriors to assasinate my deadliest foes so I could regain control of Outworld. Without control of my army I would have to do everything without anybody knowing. The first on my list was Shang Tsung. He would die by the hands of his former champion....Goro. I did not entirely trust Scorpion but I knew that he would want to kill Quan Chi. That left Reptile to kill Mileena and Rain to kill Mavado. This was all risky buisness so I recruited Kintaro to be my personal protector. When all my enemies were dead I would kill Raiden. With Raiden out of the way it will be easy to take Earthrealm for myself. I...Shao Kahn will be ruler supreme.

Rain---

Allies: "Kitana", Jade, Sindel
Foes: Shao Kahn and his allies
Styles: Wushu, Hung Ga, Snake Spear

Bio: For most of the time I worked for Shao Kahn I was sent on small jobs. I wasnt really important in his point of view. One day I had returned to find him dead. I was actually happy. I had no master...i was free to live a simple life...and I did until one day I was confronted by Jade. She told me of my true past and how Shao Kahn had killed my father and smuggled me into Outworld. I was furious. I later learned that it was only a mear clone that died. I was happy...now I could kill him for what he had done to me and my family. I posed as one of his assasins. He sent me on a mission to kill a warrior known as Mavado. I would, but only as a formality. After he believed that I was truly loyal to him I would strike.

My scheme was going as planned until the day I was going to leave. Shao Kahn had just appointed Kintaro to be his personal protector. Things would be harder than I thought.

Soon I discovered another problem. Mavado was in control of a large portion of the tarkatan army. I first realized this when I was ambushed by a group of them. I was fighting well but soon realized that it was be fake being captured. The tarkatas would take me straight to mavado. My plans would be completed soon.

I hate to ask on someone else's thread, but would any of you mind checking out my plotline on MK7 and giving me a little feedback? Red-Dragon was nice enough to give me his 2 cents.

As for the bios on this page, I have to say that I'm very impressed. I like what you guys are doing with Sub-Zero most of all. I like the idea of Sub-Zero having everything taken away from him by his brother. I also like that the medallion is still in the story. I personally thought that it would be cool to have this sub-zero weakened by his beating at the hands of the tarkatan and still aging from the medallion step back and name a successor. A new Sub-Zero. This one would be a bit more Asian, and wear something a bit closer to Sub's MK2 outfit, though it'd be unique in various ways. He'd be young, rash, impulsive, and I'd go into the rivalry between the Lin Kuei and the Shinrai Ryu. Can the elder Sub-Zero trust the young ninja to be the future leader of the Lin Kuei? Can this new Sub-Zero live up to the expectations of one day becoming leader? Will he be able to focus on the true villains, or will he be distracted from outside threats?

Anyways, I like what you guys are doing with Sub-Zero. I also liked the Kano bio. Red-Dragon, you've done some seriously good writing here man. Keep it up! I'd like to see more on the Black Dragon if you'd be so inclined. Maybe a bio for Kabal and/or Kira? I think that Kira has potential, but she was sorely mistreated by the MK team when they gaver her Kano/Sonya specials, Kano's weapon, and recycled fighting styles. What do you think?

Baraka407, I'm also a big Kira fan, she's my personal favourite MKD newcomer. The Black Dragon will be included, but I draw the line at Kobra.

Kira

Alignment- Evil
Fighting Styles- Savate, Muay Thai
Weapon- Dragon Teeth
Allies- Kabal, Kano, Havik
Enemies- Red Dragon, Earthrealm Heroes

Having completed the challenge set by Kabal, and killing the idiot Kobra, I was given the task of recruiting more into the reborn Black Dragon. Yet there was nobody at the same level as me and Kabal, all we got were thugs. Aggressive fighters, but lacking the neccessary instincts to survive our clan. Kabal has been angry over our lack of progress, and we come close to fighting ourselves. When I learnt of Havik's ability to raise the dead, I persuaded him to bring back the most infamous member of the old clan, Kano. He has the perfect mixture of brutality and cunning, a true survivor until his death at Mavado's hands.

This has caused unexpected friction in the clan, as Kano openly dislikes the new Black Dragon's agenda. He beleives we should be building a criminal empire like the old clan, rather than using violence to simply spread anarchy and chaos across the realms. Kano also considers Kabal a traitor for originally leaving the Black Dragon, and denouncing his criminal past. It will be very interesting to see which of the two emerges triumphant, I've overcome my challenge in the clan, can Kabal conquer his? Of course, I have no intention of simply following the winner obediently, and when the time is right, take the clan's leadership for myself, whatever the Black Dragon's destiny might be.

Kurtis Stryker

Alignment- Neutral
Fighting Styles- Boxing, SCARS (Navy Seal fighting style)
Weapon- Nightstick
Allies- Havik
Enemies- Everyone else

Killed in the war against Shao Kahn, I was brought back years later by a Cleric of Chaos calling himself Havik. Having just been resurrected, my mind was a mess, jumbled memories of who I was and what I'd done. Using magic, he showed me visions of my past life, as a defender of law and order. I stood against those who put Earth in danger, gave my life for my city, my world. The next visions I was shown are more recent I think, our guide and leader, Raiden, having himself become a threat to what he once sought to protect. Everything I could see was of chaos, destruction, and it was only a matter of time before Earth was once again sucked into this.

Havik told me what I must do, he convinced me that I must fight once again. Not only against my old enemies, but also former friends, people I once trusted. The only way I can ensure Earth remains safe is to take them all down, and although my memories don't seem right, my expert knowledge of weapon combat remains. As I begin my new mission, I can't help but wonder however, is there more to Havik than meets the eye? Why do I feel doubts about the task ahead, why do I feel like I'm being manipulated? I cannot let that get to me now, I must do whatever it takes, fight whoever I need to to ensure the safety of Earth.

Alignment- Evil
Fighting Styles- Sarit-Sarak, Snake
Weapon- Kirehashi
Allies- Shao Kahn, Goro
Enemies- Kitana, Nitara, Baraka, Kano

My body had, until recently been used as a vessel for the Dragon King Onaga. After his death, I was returned to a half devolved form, a mix of human and raptor. I had the mind of a human assassin, and the physical structure of a monster, the strongest aspects of both forms. Some of Onaga's power must have stayed inside of me, but what would I do now? The vampire, Nitara was gone, but my true purpose became clear when I learned of the survival of Shao Kahn. Unlike cowards and traitors such as Kano, I had remained loyal to our Emperor, and would have aided "Kahn" against the Deadly Alliance if I had not been caught up with Nitara.

In his wisdom, the Emperor could see that I had remained a loyal soldier in his army. For this loyalty, I was rewarded by being made a commander of his forces. Where I had once merely served him and the backstabbing Shang Tsung, now I was a leader of others. Even now, Kahn has offered me more, the position of general. The Emperor has entrusted me to hunt down all those who have betrayed him in recent years, and bring their heads to him, as an example of what happens to those who would defy the true ruler of all realms. It is a task I look forward to, with my strength from Onaga, I can even stand against the Deadly Alliance. I cannot wait to once again face all of those who saw me as a mere servant.

Alignment- Good
Fighting Styles- Fan Zi, Kou Shou
Weapon- Bo Staff
Allies- Kitana, Sindel
Enemies- Mileena, Shang Tsung, Reptile

I was so happy when we freed Princess Kitana, my oldest and best friend from the Dragon King's control. Happy for her, and her mother Queen Sindel, but it did not last. If I had known before what I do now, I would have stopped it sooner, but I was helpless. Shortly after the reunion, I now know that the evil clone, her "sister" Mileena stepped in to replace Kitana, kidnapping the real Princess and having her hidden away in Outworld. Mileena has expertly manipulated not only the queen, but Liu Kang, former champion of Earthrealm, and the Thunder God Raiden, who's own mental state is questionable. She plays on the love of her "mother" and Liu, and encourages Raiden's violent instability, they are now wrapped around her little finger.

Many times I tried to make my suspicions known, but I lacked proof, and Mileena has gained the ability to reshape her face to look exactly like Kitana. While in Outworld on another mission, I was guided by an anonymous source to where Kitana had been hidden away. Without question, I knew then that this was my real friend, and freed her, then learnt what had gone on. Kitana also informed me that the clone's new "advisor" was in fact one of our deadliest foes, Shang Tsung. Mileena does not yet know that her "sister" is on the loose, and for now, we must keep it that way. Covertly, I continue to serve Mileena as if I, like Sindel and the others, didn't know the truth. But when she least suspects, when she is vunerable, Kitana will resurface, and take back the life that is rightfully hers.

Smoke

Alignment- Good
Fighting Styles- Mit Zu, San Shou
Weapon- Jitte
Allies- Sub Zero, Sareena
Enemies- Noob, Quan Chi

For too long now, my cyborg body has allowed those with evil intentions to reprogram me, renering me little more than a puppet. So I suppose in a way, my near death at the hands of Noob after his defeat was a blessing in disguise. With magic learnt from her time with Shinnok, the Netherrealm demon Sareena, an unlikely but welcome ally of the Lin Quei, I was saved from certain death. What I did not expect was that my body would take yet another new form, that of an etheral, spirit like being. I now possessed the ability to transform from solid, to smoke forms at will, and am no longer vunerable to manipulation. Acting on my own free will for the first time in ages, I immediately rejoined my old friend Sub Zero in his new, reformed Lin Quei clan, now fighting for good.

While he leads the clan, I, as second in command, have been given charge of new recruits. Now I train others, future defenders of justice, even as I myself learn to control my new body, and use it to full advantage. I will need to be in the best condition possible for the coming battles, not only against old foes, but to overcome division in our own ranks. The changes in Raiden have caused a split, groups led by him and Kung Lao with opposing ideals, and the Lin Quei in the middle. Officially neutral, we try to work best we can with both sides, but even we can't concentrate our full efforts on this crisis, and our real enemies. Noob, who I now know to have been Sub Zero's older brother remains a threat, one which Sub Zero insists on battling personally, although I look forward also to facing my one time controller.

Alignment- Good
Fighting Styles- Huan Chuan, Choy Lee Fut
Weapon- Axe
Allies- Kung Lao, Li Mei, Johnny Cage
Enemies- Shao Kahn, Goro, Raiden

With our role in freeing Princess Kitana and her Earthrealm allies, from Onaga, we can finally begin to atone for past sins. Atrocities commited by us in the centuries of slavery under Shao Kahn. We knew after this that our battles were far from over, but potentially the biggest threat proved a most unlikely one. The Thunder God Raiden, for so long the driving force of the Earthrealm heroes, has become violently unstable, killing our one time friend Shujinko for his unwitting part in Onaga's return. The being supposed to be protecting the millions of innocent lives may now be the one who endangers them the most. Fortunately, we have not been the only ones with this view, and we joined the Kung Lao, Johnny Cage and Li Mei in standing up to the diety.

Unlike Kung Lao and Cage, we have no past history with Raiden, we have never fought side by side with him. If the God of Thunder proves to be mad beyond all reason, we will have the easiest time stepping in to battle the wayward God. We have also learnt of the corruption in Li Mei's soul, caused by the Deadly Alliance and making her helpless against Onaga. We have offered to help her find the Kriss blade, a Netherrealm sword with the power to cleanse souls. Having spent centuries in Kahn's control, we cannot sit back and watch another become the mindless puppet of evil forces. Now, at the worst moment, we have discovered the survival of our former master, Shao Kahn. We must aid and guide our new friends against multiple threats, each as bad as each other. If we can achieve this, it would help atone for the centuries of evil acts committed by us.

Order, absoloutely necessary for the continued existance of us all. I joined Onaga, who represented our best chance at finally ending the turmoil and chaos which surrounds us. As you might guess, the death of the Dragon King has made things much worse than before, with warring factions all battling it out for power, while those with other agendas join in as they please. I failed in bringing one of our biggest threats, Sub Zero, to justice, defeated by his companion Kenshi. It would have been better if I had died then, but that was not to be. With Onaga dead, it is my sworn duty to continue the Dragon King's good work, or die honourably in the attempt. Even my beloved homeworld of Seido, the Orderrealm has not been left out of this mess, with the revolution getting stronger.

With my mission, my lifes work devoted to the upkeep of order and stability, I must sometimes ally with unscrupulous individuals for the greater good. Without enthusiasm, I have agreed to help the Netherrealm wraith Noob in his own missions, an important one being the elimination of Sub Zero. Order is what keeps the worlds going, and there must be a way to make Onaga's vision a reality, even with the Kamidogu destroyed. Perhaps I must seek out this "One Being", rumoured to be the true power behind Onaga himself for my answer. My duty will only come to two conclusions, the restoration of law and structure, or death in Kombat at the hands of a worthy opponent. Turning back now is not an option...

Kano

Alignment- Evil
Fighting Styles- Val Tudo, Street Brawling
Weapon- Butterfly Knives
Allies- Kira, Havik, Kabal
Enemies- Mavado, Sonya

Dead I was, killed by the Red Dragon scum Mavado, and with me the Black Dragon died too. Or so I thought, only some loony called Havik brought me back to life, with a reforming Black Dragon. Weirder still, an old associate Kabal, who quit the clan during Kahn's Earth invasion was back, leading it. I'm not loyal to much, but that man is a traitor, he turned his back on us, and our ways, and he turns up again as leader of this new group. Oh it gets worse, he's not even making any attempt to build a criminal organisation, just messing around causing random murder and destruction. Don't get me wrong, I love murder and destruction, but where's the sense in doing it just for "chaos" like Havik preaches?

Still, the situation being as it is, we've been forced to co operate, although I've made my position very clear to him. I wonder if his gorgeous new second in command Kira would be up for rebuilding the empire with me? She seems to have the right mix of brutality and cunning, a lot like me as it happens. Once I'm through with Sonya and Mavado, and anyone else who wants some, I'll get Kabal so badly, even he won't be able to pull himself out and survive. And then I'll ditch the Chaos weirdo too, thanks for ressurecting me, but you're really not cut out for the old style Black Dragon clan. The Black Dragon's become an embarrassment, and I'm just the man to bring it back to it's old glory.

Wow, dude....These bios are really good!

Some of these bios really made the charcters interesting. Like, I'm not a big fan of Stryker's but the bio here made him more interesting than before.

I also liked the fact that you have a division on the good guys side between Raiden and Kung Lao. It nice to see Kung Lao as someone other than Liu's ally.

If you can, I would love to see how Sonya, Kitana, Sektor, Cyrax and others would fit into this equation.

Keep up the good work ya'll

Kitana

Alignment- Good
Fighting Styles- Ba Gua, Hakuda
Weapon- Steel Fans
Allies- Jade, Liu Kang, Sindel
Enemies- Mileena, Shang Tsung, Shao Kahn

After the defeat of the Dragon King, and freedom from his control I was so happy to be reunited with the people I most cared about. My mother Queen Sindel, my best friend Jade, and the most pleasant surprise, the ressurected Liu Kang, who had helped free us from Onaga. Sadly, the celebrations of our victory did not last, and I found myself kidnapped by my evil clone Mileena. Her plan was to rule Edenia disguised as me, while I was hidden away in Outwold. To make her ruse more convincing, the sorceror Shang Tsung used some of my blood for a spell giving her the ability to morph her face into mine. With this done, they convinced my guards that I was Mileena, and left me unable to tell anybody the truth.

Some time later, and I'm still not sure how she did it, my oldest and most trusted friend Jade managed to find me. Immediately, she realised who I was, our longtime friendship being too great for Mileena's deception. Together, we slipped out of my dungeon, and remain hidden in Outworld. Mileena does not suspect a thing, and I must keep it that way for now. Jade has told me how my clone manipulates the queen, Liu and the increasingly violent Raiden, and the division in our own forces as a result of Raiden's madness, encouraged by Mileena. Even so, I cannot risk her, or anyone else finding me just yet.

We must bide our time, wait until Mileena thinks that she has truly won. When she beleives her secret to be safe, and everyone around her duped, I will emerge. I will expose my evil clone and Tsung for what they truly are, and bring their grand plan to a halt. Mileena will pay for making my mother and the man I love run around obediently after her in the beleif that she's me. For too long, this evil creation has been trying to destroy my life, and take my position for her own evil goals. Once and for all, I must finally rid myself of Mileena and her vile creator.

Fighting Styles- Monkey, Dim Mak
Weapon- Scythe
Allies- Sektor, Hotaru
Enemies- Sub Zero, Smoke, Sareena, Scorpion

My rise to power has been set back, by my own younger brother, now leading my old Lin Quei clan. He defeated me and freed his cyborg friend from my control, but his finding out who I really was distracted him. Enough for me to get away, but not after tossing shuriken into Smoke's most vital parts. I have now learnt that a former ally and lover Sareena, had treacharously saved Smoke, and guided them out of the Netherrealm. I may have lost this battle, but the final victory will belong to me. Smoke's inner good made his adjustment to the Netherrealm difficult, and his turning to Sub Zero proved that such beings are not right to assist me in my goals.

Instead, I travelled to my original home, Earthrealm, and found another cyborg who had once been with the Lin Quei. Sektor, once one of my most trusted allies, he shared the same killer instincts and lust for power as I did. His Tekunin army will prove to be more suitable soldiers for my creation of cyber demons, and Sektor's clan has strenghened under my guidance. I have also gained the services of another who seeks to kill Sub Zero, the Seidan guardsman Hotaru. It makes me sick to think of how Sub Zero has reformed the Lin Quei, and to ensure my plans succeed, the clan must be destroyed. You defeated me once little brother, but I, Noob, the original Sub Zero will emerge triumphant.

Kai

Alignment- Good
Fighting Styles- Caperoia, Bando (Burmese Karate)
Weapon- Machete
Allies- Raiden, Kung Lao, Liu Kang
Enemies- Quan Chi, Shang Tsung

After the war against Shinnok, I travelled the globe, learning many new fighting styles. I knew that one day, I would need to use these skills in Kombat once more when Earthrealm is under threat. The last thing I expected on my return to China was a split between lifelong friends and allies Liu Kang and Kung Lao. This has come about as a result of the Thunder God Raiden, and his violent new measures for protecting the realms. I was sad to hear about the death of Shujinko, who I had also met on my travels, but could not bring myself to turn away from Raiden and Liu, nor Kung Lao. I am now in the difficult position of being in the middle between the clash of ideals.

For now, I must do what I can, as a trusted friend to both Liu Kang and Kung Lao to prevent violence between the defenders of Earth. It is down to me to act as peacekeeper, to stop one side striking out against the other. Where we had once been united, now we were split, unable to co ordinate a fightback against the threats to Earth. Surrounded by threats from Shao Kahn, Quan Chi and others, this is the worst possible time for our own side to divide. Somehow, I must find a way to bring the two sides, and those who choose to stay out of the conflict together. Only united can we make a stand against our enemies. If we cannot even work with our fellow defenders, what chance do we have against the evil forces who threaten us?

Alignment- Evil
Fighting Styles- Tai Tzu, Liu He
Weapon- Wrath Hammer
Allies- Goro, Reptile
Enemies- Kitana, Raiden, Liu Kang, Sindel

With my enemies believing me to have been killed, I disappeared during the war against Onaga, in order to regain my strength. But with the rumours of my death, others sought to try and take my position. I have had to kill one, Reiko, a former general who tried to rule in my place. While some like the Tarkatans and Kano serve new, weaker masters, I have managed to build up an army of loyal followers. Goro, now king of the Shokans, and my most trusted general, and Reptile, who remained a loyal and worthy subject. Away from prying eyes, I have built a fortress deep in the mountains of Outworld. Outworld already belongs to me once more, so will Edenia and all other realms.

This may prove to be easier than I expected. Raiden's forces are divided, fighting amongst themselves, and contending with other threats. Goro will lead my armies on the battlefields, and Reptile has been commanded to kill those who had once betrayed me. The realms will run with rivers of blood, as I slaughter those who would stand in the way of my rule. None shall be able to stand against the brute force of the combined forces of Goro and myself. Those who once served me, and chose to betray me will not be spared, for their parts in undermining my authority, they will suffer the worst. Even the Thunder God Raiden, more ruthless as he has become, will be destroyed. The day is near when all of the realms fall under the rule of the almighty Emperor, Shao Kahn.

Sonya Blade

Alignment- Good
Fighting Styles- Kenpo, Tae Kwon Do
Weapon- Kail Sticks
Allies- Jax, Kenshi
Enemies- Kano, Mavado

As soon as I was free from Onaga's control, my priority was to rebuild the Outworld Investigation Agency, almost destroyed by the Red Dragon. This is vital to the protection of the Earth, and also in monitoring possible threats, wherever they come from. So, when Johnny Cage arrived shortly afterwards with claims that Raiden had become insane, bloodthirsty, I had no choice but to turn him down. Even now, that I have seen for sure, a new, ruthless side to the Thunder God, I have to stay out of the argument. Rebuilding the OIA had to come first, particularly when I learnt that both the Red and Black Dragon clans are active, and operational. The Black Dragon has been reformed by former member Kabal into a crazed group of killers murdering for chaos.

Worse, my oldest enemy, Kano has been ressurected from death, and is in with the new Black Dragon. And add to that Mavado leading the Red Dragon as part of Quan Chi's army, and Earth, as well as every other realm is in serious trouble. Although Kano has been my most hated enemy for so long, it was revealed to me that it would be Mavado, who would prove to be my greatest foe. I dread to think what he could do that would hurt me far worse than Kano ever did. But as he is the better fighter, with the stronger clan I know deep down that he can do some serious damage. Leading the OIA, I have no choice but to destroy both of these clans, the Black Dragon before they become a worldwide threat once again, and also the more organised, secretive Red Dragon. These threats come from Earth itself, so in some ways are the most dangerous to us.

Wow, these are getting really good, dude. I really liked the new ones you put up so far. Bring Kai into the equation is great considering that he was a pretty decent character. I also liked the fact that you have Sonya not only worrying about the both the Red and Black Dragon, but also that Kano has been resurrected. Also, I really liked Kitana's story...it would be interesting how her story will pan out in the end.

Keep up the good work, I can't wait to see who's story you thought of next.

Weapon- Steel Club
Allies- Sonya, Kenshi, Sub Zero
Enemies- Mavado, Kano, Kabal

Due to a gruelling fight with the Red Dragon traitor Hsu Hao, I was not at my best for the battle against the Deadly Alliance straight after. As a result of this, I was the first on our side to fall, killed early on in the fight. Shang Tsung and Quan Chi proved too powerful for us, but I can't help wondering, could I have helped swing it our way if in better condition? Fortunately, I have gotten a second shot at life, due to Onaga's ressurection and Liu and Ermac freeing us. This time, I swear that whatever the challenge, whoever is next to threaten Earth, I will be ready and able to face them. To ensure this, I must rediscover who I am, and what I represent, and keep these things in my mind. The years of relative peace before the Deadly Alliance came about made me lose focus, becoming complacent.

Having helped Sonya rebuild the Outworld Investigation Agency, I then set about harsh new training program to better face up to my enemies. For days at a time, I would go, mostly alone into some of Outworld's worst areas for this. I am physically the strongest man on Earth, and one of the few people able to defend my home world against the constant evils that threaten us. Even the bitter division between our allies caused by Raiden can't be allowed to distract me. I failed once, badly, and nearly cost the Earth it's freedom. Never again will I be caught off guard by, or allow my friends to come to harm. I will defend my world, watch the backs of my allies, and if I must die again, it will be on my feet, fighting until my last breath for all that is right.

Fighting Styles- Leopard, Fu Jow Pai
Weapon- Double Bladed Chain
Allies- Sareena, Darrius
Enemies- Quan Chi, Mavado

When I successfully seperated my homeworld from Outworld, I beleived that my time in Kombat was over. It was not to be, as Onaga's plot to merge the realms into one threatened us once more. Even with the Dragon King's death, the vampires are not safe. Other madmen have set their sights on taking our world, the independence I fought long and hard to achieve for us. Not only is Shao Kahn, our original oppressor still alive and regaining power, but a new army fighting for Quan Chi has made attacks on us. With his Red Dragon allies, they have created a weapon, still in experimental stages, harnessing the power of Earthrealm's sun, our fatal weakness. Although in early stages, they have used this to massacre vampires who tried to resist their attacks.

For the safety of my homeworld, I now have a new mission. I must destroy this weapon beyond all repair, before it becomes too powerful. With my crystal, I still possess the ability to travel across the realms, even the Netherrealm due to my vampiric nature. I have found a Netherrealm demon willing to help me, Sareena, a former assassin of Quan Chi until she turned on him. She has given me valuable information about where this weapon is based, but cannot destroy it, even with Sareena's help. But I learned of somebody who may be able to help me, and travelled to Seido. The freedom fighter Darrius was gaining power in the Orderrealm, but they too had suffered attacks from Quan Chi.

Darrius, like me, was not willing to lose his newly aquirred independence to anybody. With us both anxious to fight back against the threat, he and the rebels have agreed to help me destroy their weapon, in exchange for me guiding them to the location of the army. We will destroy Quan Chi's forces, as an example of what happens to anybody who dares to try and take our hard won freedom from us.

Kabal

Alignment- Evil
Fighting Styles- Musti Yudha, Goju Ryu
Weapon- Hookswords
Allies- Kira, Havik, Kano
Enemies- Mavado, Sonya

The new Black Dragon clan have gone from strength to strength under my leadership. With Havik's guidance, we attack seemingly without pattern, chaotically, to ensure our opponents are caught at their weakest. Although Havik's new ressurection power is most useful, surely there were better subjects than Kano, a relic from our past. In his stupid, backward way, he cannot see the true purpose of what we do. He has openly said that we should be going back to the old days of rebuilding our empire, instead of fighting and killing as the harbingers of anarchy. Kano dares to accuse me of betraying the clan, when it was I who came back and rebuilt the Black Dragon from nothing after his death.

As much as we despise each other, we have been forced, for now to co operate in the face of common foes. The Outworld Investigation Agency, as well as our oldest foes the Red Dragon still pursue us. I will enjoy bringing about the total destruction of their groups, watching the orders they impose crumble before their eyes. Civillisation itself shall not be safe from Chaos, we will bring law and order to it's knees, and all shall see the true power behind anarchy. Only the strogest will be allowed to survive, and the Black Dragon will weed out those not fit to live in our ungovernable worlds. We shall enjoy watching everybody turn on their loved ones, as society becomes dog eat dog. But, for our dream to become reality, I must erase the one reminder of the old clan and it's ideals, Kano, once he outlives his usefulness.

I've been dreading this part, but knew I had to do it. While I don't like the guy, and never want him as champion or main hero, I accept that Liu Kang is important to Mortal Kombat.

After the battle was won against Onaga, and my friends freed, I then overcame my own personal challenge. My body, corrupted by evil, against my spirit, still heroic. Eventually, Raiden managed to combine the two together to bring me back to life as a true defender of Earthrealm. I am grateful to Raiden for this, giving me the chance to battle the forces of evil once more. Which was why when Kung Lao told me he was openly angry at Raiden's new attitude and Shujinko's death, I refused to follow him. While it is true that Raiden has changed for the worst, I still beleive that his guidance is our best chance of victory against our foes. Fortunately, the Princess Kitana has reassured me that I have made the right choice, and I trust her judgement even if I begin to question Raiden himself.

Even with the Thunder God's ruthless, uncompromising new attitude, I beleive that we should follow his example. Especially now, when so many different enemies threaten Earthrealm, Edenia and all other worlds. Raiden has led us to victory in the past, I beleive he can do so again, and I would like to think that his violent temprament, which Kitana seems to be picking up also, is only a temporary effect of our struggle. With the leadership and wisdom of Raiden and Kitana, as well as Queen Sindel's backing, I cannot see why Kung Lao and others would choose this time to openly oppose the Thunder God. We must concentrate our efforts first on greater threats like Shao Kahn and Quan Chi, and save any internal arguments for after our battles.

OK, that's Mr Boring Turkey Boy out of the way. Let's move onto the lovely Sareena, shall we?

Allies- Sub Zero, Nitara, Ashrah
Enemies- Quan Chi, Noob

Long ago, it was all so easy, I, an evil Netherrealm demon, served Quan Chi and Shinnok. But the original Sub Zero granted me mercy, showing me something I had never thought possible for me, friendship. Which is why, even when he became evil as I had once been, I could not bring myself to oppose him. His younger brother, the current Lin Quei leader, also a Sub Zero, defeated him, but learning his true identity prevented him from killing the man now known as Noob. I rescused his cyborg friend Smoke from death, but caused him to transform into an etheral, spirit form. Later, I learned that my former master Quan Chi had formed an army of evil, and knew he would eventually target me as a traitor, for turning against him, and helping the older Sub Zero defeat him.

Because of this, I have become committed to aiding those who seek to destroy the sorceror and his forces. I gave the vampire Nitara, and the Lin Quei clan valuable information, and will willingly join the battle against him. But to fight Noob makes me uneasy, I can never forget the man he once was. The current Sub Zero has said I must accept the death of the honourable, former Sub Zero, but I cannot. Not when he still exists, as an evil being of the Netherrealm, just as I truly am. I remain torn between the two Sub Zeros, former and current, the one who became Noob once loved me for a brief time, and was not the hero his brother is. Could the younger Sub Zero ever love a Netherrealm demon? Can I ever become anything more than an evil monster? Or does my destiny lie with Noob, who saved me from Quan Chi's slavery, and was able to accept a Netherrealm demon?

Before I do any more bios, perhaps I'd better go into more detail about my idea for MK7's plot. That way, people can see where I'm going with this long winded silliness, and how I'm fitting my chosen characters into it. As a sequel, it is taking place after the events of MKD, and starts off at the defeat of Onaga. I'm also going to assume that Shao Kahn and Goro's MKD Gamecube appearances are canon (which they seem to be).

Mortal Kombat 7. AKA, Mortal Kombat: Warfare (working title)

The Dragon King was finally killed by an alliance of heroes coming from many different realms and backgrounds. Led by Shujinko, the man who caused Onaga's return, this group consisted of Li Mei, Kenshi, Bo Rai Cho, Nightwolf and Queen Sindel. After a long, difficult battle, they managed to destroy the Kamidogu, to weaken Onaga enough for Shujinko to deliver the killing blow. In the course of this battle, Bo Rai Cho and Nightwolf were killed, and Li Mei spent much of the time helpless, locked in an internal struggle. Thanks to the Deadly Alliance, she had been corrupted by the spirit of a Dragon King soldier, and had almost switched sides unwillingly.

During the fight, the spirit of Mortal Kombat's former champion and the being known as Ermac succeeded in rescuing Liu's ressurected, enslaved comerades. Freeing Princess Kitana, Kung Lao, Johhny Cage, Sonya Blade and Jax served two purposes. One, to bring the heroes back as they had formerly been, two, to keep them, while still Onaga's mindless servants, away from the main battle to help their master. Also during this time, Kitana's closest friend Jade, had faked surrender to the Edenian traitor Tanya. When Tanya least suspected it, Jade threw pure Tarkatan essence at her, causing her Tarkatan guards to attack her in a frenzy. The traitor was ripped apart, and Jade escaped in the chaos.

With Onaga dead, many were hoping for peace through the realms once more. This was not to be, first, the Thunder God Raiden mercilessly murdered Shujinko, blaming him for putting Earth in danger. Since his sacrifice against the Deadly Alliance, Raiden had become ruthless, declaring that anyone who put them at risk, even accidentally, must die. This act bitterly divided the heroes, with Kung Lao openly opposing this new ideal, and breaking away from the group. This caused arguments between him and his lifelong friend Liu Kang, who felt it was best to stick by the god for now, believing Raiden's instability only a temporary side effect of their war. Liu Kang was reassured by Kitana that this was the right desicion.

At least most people thought it was Kitana. Shortly after the battle with Onaga, the evil mutant clone Mileena had a plan to rule Edenia as her "sister", and lead the armies. She had the real Kitana kidnapped and hidden in Outworld, and manipulates her "mother" Sindel, Liu Kang, and plays on Raiden's unstable mind for her own ends. They, and most other people do not know the truth about this deception, and believe it is indeed Kitana, hardened by her following Raiden's new doctrine, ruling over Edenia. To make the ruse more convincing, the sorceror Shang Tsung gave her the ability to reshape her face at will, to resemble the real Princess. A disguised Shang Tsung works as a royal advisor, and unknown to Raiden, regained much of his lost power through stealing the soul of Shujinko himself.

Like his former comerades, Kung Lao did not suspect a thing about Kitana. Fortunately, he is not alone in his belief that Raiden has stepped way out of line. The movie star Johnny Cage, Li Mei, a former student of Shujinko, and Ermac, the being who helped save many of them all joined him. They are committed to either making Raiden come to his senses, or fighting against him, as they would any other threat. They know that Raiden, encouraged by "Kitana" would kill them all as well if he decided they threatened his protection of Earth. A battle with Baraka made Cage suspect something was not right with the Princess, but Kung Lao has dismissed that as her agreement with Raiden. Li Mei seeks to remove the corruption in her soul, and Ermac has told her of a Netherrealm sword, the Kriss, which can do this.

More coming up in just a moment.

Continued from the last post.

The newly dark and violent Raiden was not the only threat to the safety of the realms. Not only did both of the former Deadly Alliance, Shang Tsung and Quan Chi survive, but so too did the Emperor Shao Kahn, a clone killed in his place. Both Quan Chi and Shao Kahn are forming armies, building up their forces to once again reign terror on their enemies. Kahn does this from the Outworld, which he rules once again, with the aid of Goro, now King of the Shokans, and Reptile, formerly the host for the Dragon King. The emperor has sworn to take back Edenia, Earthrealm, and all other realms to rule under his iron fist. Goro leads his brutal armies, while Reptile is assigned to kill those who in the past betrayed and weakened Shao Kahn's rule.

After Onaga's death, the heroes simply left his body alone. Unknown to them, two people entered the Dragon King's palace with different purposes. First was Havik, the Cleric of Chaos, who stole the heart of Onaga, which held the power to ressurect the dead, and consumed it. Quan Chi also sneaked into the palace, unseen by Havik or his Black Dragon allies. His goal was to take back the amulet he had lost in his first battle against Onaga. The amulet which had given him so much power, power to rival even a god. Reaquirring this, the sorceror returned to the Netherrealm and his Brotherhood of Shadow allies. He quickly became the leader of this group, but saw the potential for so much more.

His plan was to build, under his own leadership, an army consisting of the most evil, brutal warriors from across different realms and take power for himself. The recently killed Red Dragon leader Mavado, sent to the Nethrrealm as punishment, became a high ranking member of this, and learned many of the Brotherhood of Shadow's murderous skills. His Red Dragon clan joined this army, to stage the invasion of Earth. Another important member was Baraka, the Tarkatan leader, and the one being Mileena truly feared, he knew the truth behind her tricks. With the Tarkatans allied with Quan Chi, eager to rampage through Edenia, Baraka knew that his secret would not die even if he did, and his former lover Mileena would suffer. While in the Netherrealm, Quan Chi had also created a new weapon, built using the head of the fallen god Shinnok. Dead, but containing all of his former ally's formidable magical knowledge.

Also in the Netherrealm, the Lin Quei leader Sub Zero had been caught up in another battle, during the fight against Onaga. He had been considered the Dragon King's greatest threat, but was now unable to join the battle against him. Instead, he faced two opponents with personal ties to himself. One was the cyborg Smoke, his best friend, under the control of the wraith known as Noob Saibot. Eventually, Sub Zero triumphed over both, bringing Smoke to his senses, but then discovered the truth about Noob. This being had once been his elder brother, the original Sub Zero, transformed by Shinnok after death in Shang Tsungs tournament. The distraction caused by this allowed Noob to escape, after fatally wounding Smoke. The cyborg would have died if not for the help of another Netherrealm demon, this one fortunately a former ally of the Lin Quei. Sareena, who had helped the older Sub Zero during his life, used magic to transform Smoke into a new, spiritual, etheral form, and save his life.

With the heart of Onaga, Havik possessed the ability to reanimate the dead. His first try was a failiure, not knowing of Shao Kahn's survival and bringing back the clone. After this, he had more success bringing back a man who had died in Kahn's Earthrealm invasion, riot cop Kurtis Stryker. Stryker's mind was a mess, Havik not having mastered ressurection yet, but the cleric used this to further the spread of Chaos. He convinced the former hero that everybody else was a threat to Earth, and must all be eliminated. He then gave his Black Dragon allies a surprise by bringing back a major player in the old clan, Kano. The new leader Kabal hated this, he and Kano openly despised each others ideals, while Kira sat aside, waiting to see which would triumph. Havik then saw an even bigger opportunity to cause anarchy.

Jade, on a mission in Outworld, not yet knowing for sure what was wrong with the Princess, was guided anonymously by Havik, who had learnt of the real Kitana's whereabouts. Jade instantly recognised her best friend, and freed her. Kitana told her of Mileena's deception, but knew they had to play along for now. She remained out of sight from everyone, while Jade went back to Edenia, acting as if she knew nothing. Only when the clone thought she had won, and that she would rule would Kitana step out from the shadows. At her most vunerable, Kitana swore to finally rid herself of Mileena once and for all, take revenge on the clone for manipulating her friends, and fuelling the divisions among the heroes. Until then, she had to stay hidden, with only Jade knowing the truth, or Mileena would quickly and quietly hunt her down without anybody knowing any wiser.

More to come, continued shortly.

Continued again from the last two posts. Uh, yay.

Embarrassed at being defeated by his younger brother, and hating what Sub Zero had done with the Lin Quei, Noob swore to destroy the clan he had once belonged to. Using a brainwashed Smoke as the experiment for his cyber demon force had ended in failure. So Noob returned to Earthrealm, where he had once come from, to seek out another former member. Sektor, the first Lin Quei cyborg, now leading the automated tekunin clan in Japan. As the older Sub Zero in his past life, he had been friends and partners with Sektor, and the two joined forces once again. Both had suffered defeat by Sub Zero, and Noob would use his Netherrealm power to strengthen Sektor's cyber assassin clan. They vowed to make Sub Zero pay for reforming the Lin Quei into heroes, and then move to take power for themselves.

Learning of his old enemy's survival in a new form, the spectre Scorpion, now champion of the Elder Gods was enraged. His official task now was to watch over Raiden, to see that the Thunder God did not become too great a threat. But he longed to once more destroy his original muderer, this time beyond any comeback. On his way to attack Noob in the Netherrealm, Scorpion was attacked by the two Oni, Drahmin and Moloch. This time, with the power granted him by the Elder Gods, he tore through them, killing Moloch. But then Scorpion was challenged by a former champion of the Elder Gods, knwon as Monster. This being claimed scorpion was not ready to face his killer, and the two fought. Scorpion was surprised how easily he was beaten, until he discovered the true identity of "Monster". Takeda, founder of the Shirai Ryu, and originator of many of Scorpion's fighting techniques. Takeda then took Scorpion under his wing, teaching him many new moves for a true champion of the Elder Gods.

Where once the wars had been between the forces of good and evil, now things were not so simple. On both sides, individuals with their own goals and ideals have formed their own factions to battle it out. Some seek to save the realms, others to take power, and some still, like the alliance between Nitara and Darrius, simply for themselves and their own realms. Even the heroes are divided, between Raiden and Kung lao, with groups such as the Lin Quei and Outworld Investigation Agency fighting their own threats and unable to help resolve the split. Which side will triumph? can good once again overcome evil? Good VS Good, Evil VS Evil, and all those caught up in between with their own goals. It has now become open warfare across the realms.

Darrius.

Alignment- Neutral
Fighting Styles- Shinto Ryu, Sambo
Weapon- Cleavers
Allies- Nitara, Havik
Enemies- Quan Chi, Hotaru

The revoloution in Seido grows stronger every day. With Hotaru missing, presumed dead, the Orderrealm forces have not been as effective as they usually are. But, as we fight for our freedom, others threaten to take our prize away from us. An evil army under the leadership of Quan Chi have made attacks on Seido, and make no distinction between government and rebel forces, slaughtering anyone. Some officials may call me a traitor, but I am a freedom fighter, a true patriot of this realm. The attacks have even had the effect of bringing more people to our side. Those who would before have been against us now stand side by side with the revoloution, to combat a greater foe.

Even with the increase in my force, we cannot hope to defeat Quan Chi alone. I have made an alliance with Nitara from the vampire realm, her world having also been attacked by this new threat. With my expertise in explosives and terrorist acts, I have agreed to destroy a weapon which has proved deadly to the vampires. In return, she guides me to the Netherrealm, where we will strike at his main military bases. Amazing how fighting for the freedom of Seido has corrupted my soul to allow me entry to the Netherrealm. However, if it takes a corrupt individual to lead the Orderrealm to freedom and independence, so be it. Those who matter know me for the hero I am, those who do not hold us back and are expendable.

Frost

Alignment- Good
Fighting Styles- Tong Bei, Ninjitsu
Weapon- Pickaxe
Allies- Sub Zero, Kenshi
Enemies- Noob, Sektor

Sub Zero was good enough to take me as his student, to teach me the ways of the Lin Quei, and how did I repay him? By trying to steal his medallion, and nearly killing myself. Sifu took my body to the tombs of ancient Outworld ice warriors, people we may be descended from. Being buried here had a sort of hibernation effect on me, recovering my strength as I slept. Eventually, I was strong enough to leave the tomb, and try to work out what to do from here. I couldn't go back to the Lin Quei, even Sifu wouldn't forgive me, would he? Unlike the cyborgs Smoke and Cyrax, I did not have the excuse of being manipulated by others. As I wondered the Outworld, I came across the blind swordsman, Kenshi.

Kenshi explained that Sub Zero had been attacked by multiple forces. Not only were the Dragon King's army after him, but he had fought a wraith named Noob in the Netherrealm. Although Sifu overcame Noob, and recovered his friend, the wraith was still alive. Worse, he was not only allied with the Tekunin, but I learnt that his true identity was the Original Sub Zero, elder brother of Sifu. With most people believing me to be dead, I easily slipped into Earthrealm unnoticed. Vowing to earn Sifu's forgiveness, and maybe even a place in the Lin Quei, I began my mission. I would help destroy both of my master's enemies, and fight on behalf of justice like he and the Lin Quei had been teaching me.

Scorpion

Alignment- Neutral
Fighting Styles- Hapkido, Moi Fah
Weapon Mugai Ryu
Allies- Takeda/Monster
Enemies- Noob, Drahmin, Raiden

As the newly appointed champion of the Elder Gods, my official task now that Onaga is dead is to watch over Raiden. The Thunder God has become increasingly violent, intolerant of humans, as proved by the merciless killing of Shujinko. While I understand the importance of this task, and if necessary stepping in to combat Raiden, another foe from my past. Seemingly back just to haunt me as I did him, the original Sub Zero still lives, albeit in the form of Noob. The thought of my oldest enemy, still alive all this time without my knowing it, laughing at me has enraged me. In an effort to destroy him once and for all, I returned to the Netherrealm. I did not find him, but however came across Drahmin and Moloch, the two beings who almost destroyed me for Quan Chi.

This time, with the new powers granted me by the Elder Gods, I was able to defeat both demons together. Moloch was killed, and Drahmin escaped, but before I could catch him, another being stopped me. Known as "Monster" it was the former champion of the Gods, claiming I was not ready for my tasks, my vengance. Unfortunately, he proved himself right, anticipating my every move, beating me easily. I now know why, "Monster" revealed himself to be Takeda. Founder of my old Shirai Ryu clan, and creator of many of my fighting techniques. The man every Shirai Ryu respected honoured me by taking me under his wing, teaching me many of his fighting skills, lost throughout time. With the guidance of Takeda, I am now ready and able to focus on both my assigned task, and my own personal battle. There will be no escape for my old enemy, whatever form he may take.

Sindel

Alignment- Good
Fighting Styles- Zha Chuan, Chou Jaio
Weapon- Kwan Do
Allies- Jade, Kitana, Raiden
Enemies- Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung

I was so happy when Onaga was finally destroyed, and I was reunited with my daughter. We could now go back to ruling Edenia side by side, as mother and daughter. The woman who'd tried to sell our realm out, Tanya was also dead, killed by Jade. There is so much work to be done to restore peace, especially now with Kahn's forces threatening to invade once more. With the help the heroes from Earthrealm, we can make Edenia safe again. Sadly, the Earthrealm heroes have been split, with Raiden and Kung Lao leading two seperate groups. On Kitana's advice, we have sided with the Thunder God, along with Liu Kang, former champion of Earth.

She has convinced me that, even if the deity is more voilent than usual, he is our most powerful ally in keeping the peace. It is true that Raiden has guided us to vitory against evil more than once, and if indeed he did kill Shujinko, the warrior must have done something to put our lives, and those of innocent people at risk. During this time, my daughter herself has been showing signs of agression towards not only our enemies, but Kung Lao's breakaway group, and anyone else not following us. Hopefully this is nothing more than the influence of Raiden, and the strains of our ongoing war. I cannot bring myself to trust her newly appointed advisor though, I get the feeling I know him from somewhere, but can't work out where. But for now, I follow my daughter's advice, she has proven her judgement to be sound in the past. Only with raiden's help can we finally win the battle against evil.

Sektor

Alignment- Evil
Fighting Styles- Ninjitsu, Sun Bin
Weapon- Chainsaw
Allies- Noob
Enemies- Sub Zero

While our enemies have been caught up in other battles, I have been engineering my own rise to power in secrecy. Hidden away in Japan, I have formed the Tekunin, a clan of cyborgs like myself. With the right mixture of cold, calculating ruthlessness and unquestioning loyalty, they are the perfect assassins. While building this force, I was approached by a Netherrealm wraith, one who I'd known from our past lives in the Lin Quei. Sub Zero, the original, not the current one leading our old clan. Like me, he had been humiliated by his younger brother, our common enemy. We shared not only an enemy, but also a similar cold minded outlook. Like me, he had evolved beyond mere humans.

I agreed that the Tekunin would help him in his plans, we would destroy the newly reformed Lin Quei. Using powers from the Netherrealm, he has increased the power of my soldiers to become cyber demons. Even deadlier than before, and just as unthinkingly loyal. With the aid of my new clan, we are well on the way to taking power in Earthrealm. We have used enemies from other clans as unwilling new cyborgs, rebuilding them to serve our goals. Soon, I will destroy the Lin Quei, and the man who stopped my rise to power the first time, Sub Zero. The world will fall under the unstoppable rule of demonic cyborgs, combining the deadliset of both, and crushing all those who dare to resist the Tekunin.
