You know what I'm going to do. I'm going to draw up roughs of all of these characters taking in certain aspects of the descriptions you gave of just by their core concept. Then I'm gonna post them up on here.

What about a druid? (after Nightwolf) and a witch? (not evil like Shang & Quan Chi).

A sorceress character would be cool. We've had two male sorcerers(Shang Tsung and Quan Chi) no sorceresses.

Delia was a sorceress.

WOW guess this is just like any other message board, people trying to bitch and make snarly comments left and right.

I wasn't implying anything was not done before, that's why it was in between brackets. For the people bitching about these characters not fitting the MK universe, that's just a bad excuse. Guess what, MK has introduced so many weird characters that if not been put in, people would've said it would not fit.

They can do whatever they want, it's a fantasy world..

To the guy saying he's going to draw up some stuff, if you're serious awesome but I get the feeling you're being very sarcastic like the rest. Sorry but I've been here only a few days and I already feel like leaving.

I had an idea of having a British gentleman but having a body made of diamond. Wears the suit, the cane, etc. Like having a character that insists hes proper but fights like a lunatic. Dumb idea, but funny

* A Cobra so the head of one and the body mixed with some human elements. It could be a replacement for Reptile, who NRS has done a terrible job with as far as looks go. This could be the right hand of Quan Chi / Kotal Kahn / Tsung is he's in. This creature is real slick so can slide all over the place and come from any angle. It would have walk on two tails, split like a snake's tongue and could grab and strangle the character. Venom is obviously a weapon as well and adapting to the environment maybe (partial invincibility where you still see the contours). BAD

I've been saying for years that if they ever decide to make Khameleon a legit character, they'll need to give her a cobra hood. It makes sense for the Saurian matriarch to look regal, and it sure as hell beats her wearing a crown or a tiara or something dumb like that.

3. A New God
We have Raiden and Fujin who are based on Japanese mythology. Maybe the Greek God, Hades, who is fighting against Shinnok to reclaim the Nether Realm? Possibly Odin, who disagrees with how Raiden is protecting his realm? Maybe an Egyptian god like Anubis or Isis?

You make it sound like there are other, competing pantheons of gods coexisting in Earthrealm.

That's not really the case, though:

MK Mythologies Wrote:
The gods of the Earthrealm are many. Most exist quietly, never interfering with man's occupation of the young and powerful realm; others are appointed certain tasks by the Elder Gods.

Rayden is one such god. His name varies between religions, but is generally known as the mythical God of Thunder. Like most gods, his adventures have been twisted and misinterpreted over time. His task on Earth has always been to protect it from the likes of Shao Kahn and Shinnok. Although he can intervene when the realm is in distress, he cannot directly interfere with man's destiny. He can only guide them as they choose their own paths in life.

After defeating Shinnok, Rayden appointed four guardians as the protectors of Shinnok's sacred amulet. Each guardian represents one of the four elements that make up the realm: Wind, Earth, Water and Fire. Known by many different names, these are the elemental gods chosen by Rayden to protect the amulet. Their existence, though necessary in balancing the Earth's forces, can cause great destruction and despair to the inhabitants of the planet.

There's also this little bit:

MK Mythologies Wrote:
Since the beginnings of time, the Netherealm has always existed as a place where the unwanted spirits of reality were sent. It has been interpreted in many different ways and has many different names; Hell, Hades, Gehenna, Pluto. Its purpose has always remained the same.

So Thor, Zeus, Haokah, Indra - those are all different names for Raiden. Hades was probably just the name the Greeks gave to Shinnok. All of the different mythologies and religions around the world are literally just the Adventures of Raiden & Friends.

That said, though, I would've liked to see an Egyptian character in MK, but, unfortunately, Killer Instinct beat it to the punch, so you can't really do that now without immediately being accused of ripping off Kan-Ra.

5. A Male Vampire
I could see him as being both very eccentric, and very sadistic. He would need a better storyline than what Nitara had to work with, so maybe he's allying with Kotal Kahn since he is a blood god?

I'd love to see me some vampires, especially if they properly flesh out their realm. We do know that a male vampire was planned for MKDA, but, unfortunately, didn't make the cut.

My original idea for Kotal was that he's the guardian deity of Vaeternus who got massively depowered and basically became a homeless god after his realm got conquered, so he had to go into hiding for a while. Nice to see that I'm not the only one who made the "aztecs --> blood sacrifices --> vampires" connection.

Pirates of Outworld

I was just thinking the other day that out of all of the basic "cool" stereotypes in MK, pirates seem to be oddly absent.

Why not have a Tarkatan pirate?

I mean, we know from MK9 that Tarkatans apparently can into sea-faring (as evidenced by the ship in the background bearing a stylized skull on its tattered sail, which appears to be the same skull logo that Baraka has on his chest, which leads me to believe that this ship was a part of some kind of Tarkatan raiding party), so it's not hard to imagine there being pirates. You can even say that not all of the Tarkatans pledged loyalty to Kahn when he became the Emperor, and the ones that didn't took a fleet of battleships out into the Lost Sea or whatever and have been raiding Kahn's cargo ships ever since, always being a thorn in his side.

While we're at it, let's make our Tarkatan pirate into a chick, because I'm pretty damn sure people have been asking for a female Tarkatan ever since Sheeva showed up.

And for that special touch, give her only one arm blade. Let's say the other one was broken or ripped out in battle years ago, when she fought and killed some Alpha Tarkatan over who gets to lead their pirate armada. And let's say that instead of just shredding everything around her, Sniktbub-style, she keeps one arm behind her back and fights a lot more strategically, stabbing and swinging her remaining arm blade around like a cutlass.

So there you have it.

A badass chick Tarkatan pirate captain. NRS, you can have this one for free, I'm giving her to you.

Dervis, there's your fencer character right there.

I wasn't being sarcastic at all heck I'm already half way through your roster there I'm at the Cobra hybrid now. As for your first character I pretty much assimilated him to a concept they brought up in Armageddon and sadly dropped.

I was thinking if you created like judge dread as a new character the Sylvester Stallone character of him would be kinda cool.
