Is that even legit? I mean can we really trust IMDB? There should be restrictions by the developers to prevent announcements before their schedule. I'm reaaaally taking this with a grain of salt

i don't believe a single word of this.


first of all, the imdb lists Kiefer Sutherland, who has been diconfirmed by Ed Boon himself. not a trustworthy source at all

All of those characters are highly probable, so...

Legit or not, it's a decent logical guess.
Legit or not it bothers the crap out of me that it's "Lui Kang"

Where is he from, New York?

Honestly, that list wouldn't surprise me at all. Kenshi and Liu Kang have been heavily rumored and Shinnok seems like a pretty obvious character.

Mileena's a fan favorite, Tanya's a highly requested MK4 character and Cyrax had a solid story so maybe they'd feel compelled to continue it.

Not saying I believe it or totally trust the source, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if this turned out to be the remaining list of returnees. Underwhelmed, but not surprised.

Boon said there would be at least another ninja. So while this list is potentially plausible. I highly doubt it is the only returning characters

It should be noted that Ed confirmed months ago that there will be a ton of characters who appear in story mode as cameos but aren't actually playable characters in the game.

So even IF the IMDB page is right, that doesn't mean any of these characters are on the roster, it just means they talk in a cutscene somewhere.

Unlikely, I think, though nice to think about.

Last time this happened months ago, Jennifer Hale was supposed to be playing Tanya (which actually sounds kind of awesome) and Karen Strassman was meant to be playing Kitana, not Mileena.

The grains of salt are large.

True, but I think it telling that in both "leaks" there was only mention of one character and not the other. It's almost as if people are just making up what they know about the roster. EDIT: Apparently Karen Strassman's resume leak stated only that she was playing a "supporting" role, so all this business is still possibly valid. My bad.

No you're absolutely right. I shouldn't have used the word "remaining." There will almost assuredly be more than this group. Boon's randomly posted Reptile fan art, which could be a small hint. Same goes for Ermac and he's talked about Bo Rai Cho a little as well.

There are still plenty of open roster spots for both new and returning characters even if this group ends up making it in.

This rumour and countless others only go to show that TANYA remains in people's brains, regarding the epic MKX game.....

I hope Ed Boon and the rest of the team are taking notes about all this........

Hopefully Cyrax is in. He is one of the best cyborgs to be introduced since MK3. I like everything about him since then as well. I wish the net special would go back to like how it was in MK3 (where it pulls the opponent in).

He can do with out the saw blade coming from his wrist, but, the one that comes from his chest can stay.

Sometimes Ed Boon and his team gives people like Imdb or even gaming companies such as Machinima early access to new characters that they have to keep secret so it may be legit but still no proof yet though.

As a general rule, I don't buy anything from IMDB unless its backed up by other sources.

However, I really want all six of these characters to be playable, so while I don't believe it, I am holding onto hope that its real...
